Season Series: OKC wins 4-0
West Semifinals - Game 4. Series: OKC leads series 3-0. This is an elimination game — win or go home. The Lakers (28-13 at home) host the Thunder, who are 30-10 on the road. OKC is favored by 12.5 points.

After falling 108-131 to the Thunder, what changes are needed to take game 4? Facing elimination — the season is on the line. What are your predictions? Go Lakers!

Let's see if the Lakers will fight furiously and go down (or emerge victorious) in a blaze of glory, or ride gently off into the sunset. This season has been IMO gone beyond expectations, so wouldn't be surprised if the guys can surprise at least one last time.

Lakers cannot keep up this pace, unless JJ subs the youth more than the previous games...

Mitchell reminds me of Denver's Murray.

Imagine having that coming off the bench behind the league MVP and the rest of the starting crew...

They have the number 8 pick in the upcoming draft too...

Reaves much sharper so far- corner triple and the Lakers lead 22-19!

They need to bring out some oxygen tanks for the lakers LOL...

If the game was only one quarter long!

The Lakers have not yet scored in the 2nd quarter with 5.5 minutes remaining!

Looking at the box score. Another stinker with the NBA Thunder dominating?

Ouch Lebron tweaks his ankle right before the half. Hope he'll be good to go in the second half. Lakers trail 49-45.

Very competitive so far- that guy SGA just had to heat up in the second Q. Let's see how the guys come out in the 3rd- hope they've learned from the previous few debacles coming outta the half.

Rui has been the man thus far for the Lakers in the 3rd- friendly bounce on the corner 3 and the deficit is cut to 5

How's that a foul on Smart- SGA shoves off and then just falls

Just cannot afford any more live ball turnover over like that- Reaves gets stripped there

Good timeout after yet another turnover and they drill a corner triple. Lebron is hobbling after that rim attack, earns 2 FTs.

Lakers with a much better 3rd Q- nice run in the last few minutes. Kennard the reload triple, and now Reaves can slice it to one if he makes these 3 FTs.

Almost another turnover, but Reaves gets it back, reverse layup!

Lakers LEAD 78-77 after 2 Rui FTs

What a roll and slam by Hayes- 2 handed power dunk past Holmgren!

Reaves misses, but Hayes tips it in! At the end of 3Q, Lakers 84-80!

Lakers are beating them tonight on defense and on the boards...

More difficult than it seems I'm certain...

I started watching it and they started doing better. Should I continue?

HUGE 4 point swing there. Hayes the layup saving block, the long outlet to Lebron for the easy deuce!

Now you've gotta keep watching lol

Smart committing some bad fouls here. Why are two guys trying to block Mitchell's shot? That just allowed the easy putback by Holmgren.

That's a tough shot by SGA over Rui- nothing you can do there, but at least there was no double.

Lakers though keep countering- Reaves the floater and now the Hachimura triple!

Rui will not let this team fade- drills the 3 and 1!

Wow no foul on that Hayes drive?

Rui 4 point play when it was desperately needed...

Now Smart the drive, and 1!! Tied at 109, and put the Lakers ahead with the FT

Wow... Smart with the incredible layup and foul for the lead with .40 left...

Gotta foul Holmgren there hard- don't give him the dunk come on. Also how long was Hartenstein in the paint? Felt like more than 3 seconds.

Why wasn't Kennard in there for that possession? Felt like Lebron would dished to an open guy or had an easier time with that bank shot. Still can tie with a 3 here. But there is enough time to go for a quick 2 and then a steal/foul.

Ooof- Reaves had a good look with that deep 3 but rimmed out. Rui should've been in there.

I can’t stand the NBA Thunder. They have become my most hated team. And the **** Caruso. Don’t even get me started. He’s a piece of ****.

Season over. Well guys battled really hard with heart, but just had a few too many turnovers. Against the champs, the margin for error is just so small. Then you have a guy like Ajay Mitchell out of nowhere- just too much too overcome.

Great series by Rui and a great game by Hayes.

I was watching on Prime and the Internet went out with 8 seconds to go...

I saw the results using cellular on my phone.

Heartbreaker but props to the Lakers for a game well played including amazing shooting and incredible defense.

I thought the Lakers should have won game four, but some critical mistakes were made in the final minutes by LeBron not passing the ball to wide open player to take the shot, instead he decided to make the shot himself which was a little five foot lay up and he missed. I knew he was going to try and play Hero ball, but that never works. But they would have gone up by one point to win game four.

Another disappointment on game four was JJ putting in a kid ahead of a sharp shooter in Thiero. The thing is he is not a good shooter at all, he is more of a muscular kid for defense, but he had him always standing in the corners ready to take a shot which he did twice and did not even hit the rim. JJ is a terrible coach. He has Smith, Bronny and Knecht who would not miss those shots. Actually the OKC in my opinion was not even playing that great, was a very winnable game, but turn over after turn overs by Reaves, Smart and others had a total of 19 turn overs. That will not win games.

Half of this team has to go for next season. JMHO!

I think Smart is one of the hardest players the Lakers have for defense. Offense he has a habit of being super good, or he just disappears.

Too many turn overs. Reaves was terrible one turn over after another. LeBron with closing seconds on the game had a chance of winning the game. He surrounded by the taller OKC players and instead of passing the ball to a Rui or somebody else, he decided to play hero ball, and he missed,

Why do you hate Alex? His story is awesome and he seems more neutral than annoying to me...

It’s his mannerisms when he plays the Lakers. Almost like he’s trying to make a point to make us look bad. Also, all the **** he talks about how the Lakers championship doesn’t mean anything to him. The real championship was the one with the Thunder.

It’s his mannerisms when he plays the Lakers. You can tell he’s got a chip on his shoulders and he acts likes he’s got something to prove. I’m also tired of hearing how he claims that the Lakers championship doesn’t mean anything. The “real” championship is the one he got with the Thunder. Then give the ring back dick. If it’s a “fake” championship, then the ring is fake and you should discard it.

Did he really say that? Wow!

I know he was angry because the Lakers chose not to keep him and kept the other dude who is virtually out of the NBA at this point. He's a really smart player and was very helpful to LeBron whom I know was not happy about him being let go.

Anyway, not defending him but I would have no issue of the Lakers brought him back. He hits 3's and plays spectacular defense.

Caruso loves sticking it to the Lakers and he does have a chip on his shoulder. He is upset because he was even willing to take a cut in pay to stay with the Lakers, and they still shipped him out. So he dislikes the organization, I am sure he has nothing against any individual player. Caruso was always a good defensive player, but the Laker management has always made some dumb moves. Look at all the young players they traded away after we had finally drafted some good prospects. Even Josh Hart who did not get as much credit of some day being a good player, is playing great with the Knicks, Ingram is another, Julius Randle, and even Kuzma, Zubac. All gone on poor decisions made by Laker management, and you can include the front office. And they are going to continue do so, just watch, they will pay a 42 year old player 50 plus million dollars to stay in with the Lakers when they could get some incredible good young players. Maybe they should look and study how OKC and the Spurs have managed two small market teams from small American cities are on the verge of becoming champions for a second time. OKC is solid on every position, and the Spurs are right behind. While the Lakers are looking for washed up super stars that they can get in a bargain, usually washed up.

OH! I almost forgot the biggest blunder of them all was when the Lakers drafted Ball instead of Jason Tatum. WOW!

For sure. Even worse- the Sixers drafted Markelle Fultz as #1 overall. Though Lakers did make some good decisions like drafting and developing Austin Reaves.

Also trading away that young core resulted in AD, who was vital in getting that 2020 NBA Championship. But the FO made another good move shipping AD out for Luka- that was highway robbery lol.
