Lakers Guess the Score Game

There is no new game scheduled as of yet- stay tuned!

Rules of the Game:
  1. Guess the score of both teams.
  2. Cut off time is about 30 minutes before game time
  3. 1 entry per person. Any cheating/circumventing is prohibited
  4. [new] You may not submit the same exact combination of scores as someone else who has already made his/her entry
  5. Comments posted must not violate the site rules & guidelines
  6. This game is just for fun so please do not make demands or complaints regarding posts counts for bonus allocation, etc. Failure to heed this rule will result in ban from the game.
Scoring Points for a Game
  1. You are assigned 1 point for participating, even if you do not get any score/winner/spread right.
  2. You are assigned 3 or 5 points if you guessed just one of the teams' scores correctly (5 if you picked the winner, 3 if you did not).
  3. You are assigned 6 points if you do not get any score right but the points difference (spread) is same as the end result, AND you guessed the correct winning team
  4. You are assigned 20 points + jackpot (1 point for every game since the last perfect guess of the current season), if you guessed both scores correctly.
  5. You are assigned 3 points if you picked the right winning team despite not getting the scores or spread right
  6. Get 1 extra point added to your assigned point(s) for exceeding 20 posts OR receive a reputation vote in the 7 days prior to the *END* of the game (posting in the game day thread BEFORE the game ends will help. You can refresh the Guess the Score page to see your up-to-the-second post count towards the bonus.)
Prizes (awarded after the season is over for first place)
  1. $20 Amazon GC for 1st place
  2. The following will be used as tie breakers to determine the winners (order of tie breaks: # of reps, # posts & older date of registration). Please note that the site admin may participate but will not be eligible for the gift card, and thus if the admin wins first place, and the second place winner is within 25% of the admin's score , the second place winner will receive the prize.
