Lakers Draft Dalton Knecht with 17th Pick

What do you guys think about Dalton Knecht? Sounds like a very good pick as he's a terrific shooter who has potential to be a good defender as well.

GOOD NUMBERS BUT WE NEED A BRUISER AT CENTER NOT DRAFTING TWO GUARDS. THEN GIVING A 40 YEAR OLD MAN 162 MILLION. IT'S NOT A BASKETBALL DECISION BUT IT IS DONE for MONEY. We were once the best FRANCHGISE IN THE NBA, now we are the JOKE OF THE NBA.

I agree with some of your comments though Knecht has grown on me. My first thought is that he was a slasher, but upon closer inspection, he's cut from the same mold as Booker and will easily translate to a starter somewhere perhaps this year. LeBron though is pushing for a Klay Thompson acquisition, which would send Knecht to the bench.

Regarding the center position, the Lakers are looking to Chicago and Milwaukee to allow AD to play the 4...

I don't see how D'Lo survives all of this to remain with the Lakers. Los Angeles always blames the Fall Guy rather than the true cause. Why nobody is speaking about the $11M train wreck which was Vincent is beyond me....

i guess we now see that nobody wants part of this shytshow. The only way to get help is through trades and we will have to give up what little assets we do have. LECHOKE has ruined another organization. I will see you all in four years. I will monitor the Lakers but I won't root for them until LECHOKE is gone.

I like the draft pick the Lakers got in the first round. He is 6'6" and plays the three spot. He is good defender and is a spot up shooter from the three. I just hope they will play him and not have him on the bench like Darvin Ham had Christie who is also a very good player, but the coaches sometimes play these old geezers because of their popularity with the fans. I think Dalton Knecht will do good with the Lakers.
