Thanks Dave. This will make the site a lot more interesting...especially during game time when we we be able to talk to eachother real-time.
I'm just thinking that maybe members should have a certain amount of posts or votes before they can use the shoutbox because it could just be some troll trying to cause trouble. Just a thought...

Thanks Dave, great idea! I agree with Lakers4Kobe on that troll thing. Just imagine a
shoutbox like the ones at justin tv or all the other stream channels during
gametime. Always annoying stupid comments like LeBron>Jordan and stuff

have to keep that thing kind of clean and for our users interests only in my opinion.

Yeah good idea L4K- I will implement that- I will probably make it so you need +2 net votes to chat. And yeah it would be cool to be able to see who's also in the chat room. I'll see what I can do.
^^Question. Will members that aren't qualified for this still be able to view the chat box? Oh yeah, is it possible to move the dates that show next to the names (2008-08-02 15:55:15) to the right, instead of the left? Could be easier for others to read. That's just me. lol

There is one. It's in the upper-left corner: Lakers Chatroom.

Yup, that's a rule Dave just implemented.
I've made the chatroom accessible by any registered member (no votes necessary). So if
it doesn't work for you please let me know! Be sure to use Internet Explorer because I
couldn't get Firefox to work with it

To prevent "quick-hit" trolls in the chatroom, I've just implemented a 25 post requirement before you can use the chatroom. Also it seems that Firefox is working with it now- I used 3.0.10 and it seems to work fine.
