Really guys, whats at issue? All this is hype and distraction �" I don’t know a fan who a game by motor-mouthing the other guys to death. Neither team has won a championship yet this year, or a playoff game, and until both teams get deep into the playoffs, neither has done much -- the facts are simple �" check the record:
Records: Lakers 19-10; Celtics 25-3
Offensive ratings: Lakers 107.4 (6th); Celtics 107.6 (5th)
Defensive ratings: Lakers 102 (12th); Celtics 91.6 (1st)
The good news is the Lakers are in a tougher conference and the Celts in a weaker one. Otherwise, this should be a dog fight �" The 1st team needs to score and play defense, the bench mob has to show up and cannibalize the Celts when their bench is aboard �" and both squads must play defense �" note how the Celts are winning games? They are # 1 in defense, period.

all these blowout wins will keep mamba fresher, and more dangerous to make a serious post-season run. Now I wonder, if the lakers win 50-52 games, and kobe finishes 2nd or 3rd in the scoring title, what would the media people who will not vote for him for MVP again say? "he didnt score enough?" thats why I dont think he will ever win the MVP. He wins the scoring title (and those idiots say he didnt involve his teammates BS... finished 4th despite getting the 2nd most 1st place votes). media people have some sort of vendetta against him, casting him as the NBA villain to lebron and "over hyped superstars" wade and anthony
