The Spurs released Jeremy Sochan.
The Lakers ought to go after him.
He can score 20 on occasion but mostly he's a scrappy player like Vando.
If the Lakers truly want more defense, he brings that Dennis Rodman vibe though not because of the colorful hair.
The Lakers are not going to do anymore to improve this team this season. Right now there is fighting going on between the Buss family. Fighting over how the Trust was written up. Some got left out according Wendy.

Lakers management is honestly terrible at getting things done. We’re not signing that guy because this organization just can’t seem to close. Cam Thomas just dropped 34 with the Bucks after they picked him up, and meanwhile half our roster barely shows up - let alone scores 34. I’m not arguing with you, Sky. I’m just beyond frustrated with where this team is right now.
10 teams went after Sochan and he was picked up by the Knicks.

They want a Grand Slam every time even when they say they don't.
They want a defensive juggernaut and then they grab a 3 point shooter who gets let go at the end of the season because they can't shoot.
I think it's a curse!
The best teams are balanced while the Lakers are always top down. When they brought in Dwight and Javale, they accidentally achieved balance and then raced to break up the team after winning a championship.
Now they are going to structure the Lakers management after the Dodgers. Sounds like a clueless boardroom decision that will have no impact on the roster... It's amazing the Lakers win at all. Their strategy is to spend millions on famous people and surround them will fillers, but every season the team complains about not having enough depth....
