How will the Lakers do in the upcoming contest vs. the Indiana Pacers? What must the
Lakers do snap the losing streak and get a W? Which Pacers player should LA be wary of?
Will the game be a shootout or a defensive struggle? Any injury updates to
share?

The average margin of loss over the past three games is nearly 30
points.
Lakers went from NBA top defense to nearly the worst in less than three
weeks!
This is a coaching issue and less a player issue.
I also think it points to the critical role that Rui and Vando play given that the
problem is defense and the result is inadequate offense.

To beat the Pacers, the bench has to be involved in scoring...
Again, this is a coaching issue and requires smart rotations.
I think JJ is doing a good job but I also think that he thinks too much. He needs to follow
his gut more.

The Pacers most underrated player is Obi Toppin.
During a stretch last season where he filled in for injured starters, he was hitting three
pointers left and right. Suddenly, he's doing the same right now.
Do not sleep on Toppin and TJ McConnell who ought to be the starting Point Guard for
somebody in the NBA. I think he's subject to the Mac MacClung Syndrome as
well...
The place the Lakers are in right now, they do not beat the Pacers tomorrow night. In the
words of Seal, they have to get back to where they've come from...

He would be better by now if he was to have stayed in the G League, but he was hanging
around with the Lakers NBA team and just sat on the bench until garbage time on three
or four games. There he did not look good, lets face it. But that is just normal, he is
not an NBA player caliber yet. Sure he scored 39 points in the G league. Big deal! Does
not impress me at all. But because he is Lebron's kid he sure gets a lot of
publicity.
What we need to discus is what do the Laker team need to do to get back into winning games. We
do not want to drop down any more. Something has happened with the bench players, and
I think they do not like the way the so called top three are not sharing the ball with
the rest of the team They want a piece of the chip also, and they are not getting it. I
noticed that more on Hayes then anybody else. That kid had all kinds of energy and all
of a sudden it seems like he is not into the game. Vincent is another that if they do not
include him into some spot up shooting, he just will run around but will not shoot.
Vando has been playing terrible. Wants to fight everybody. That is why he is a foul
magnet and the coach has to pull him out. So he has to change his attitude and play
solid defense and every once in a while hit a three from the corner.. Knecht is
another that needs some touches and give him confidence, might talk to him also
about playing some defense.
I think the Lakers will have to control Turner and not let him dominate on the painted
area. Even if we have to put Jemison III or even the big fellow Len. But the coach has to
turn Len into a monster protecting the paint. When he fouls somebody, hit them hard,
none of those patsy touch fouls. Touch fouls just gives them a three point
opportunity. That is not good.
The Lakers have to win, there is no butts about it. They are against the wall and need to
fight.

What a second quarter.
Lakers are beating the Pacers by slowing the pace....
The reason why the Lakers are playing good is because they are playing good defense and
sharing the ball. I notice LeBron only has two points. What is his problem? Is it
because Bronny was sent to the G league for the rest of the season or is he still
injured.
But other then LeBron everybody else has done good. I wish they would include Knecht
more often then the five minutes he has played and he hit a three right away. These
people need to feel good that they are part of the team, and it does take team effort in
this games. Vando played much better avoiding getting in foul
trouble.
Lets keep it going on the second half, this team is dangerous, so keep the defense
going.
Got lucky! Finally LeBron decided to play in the four quarter and he got the final tip in
to win the game. So tomorrow is a game against a team that embarrassed the Lakers
before. THE BULLS. So it is payback time tomorrow. Lakers need to play good defense
and they should win.
Lakers need to play Knecht more then five minutes. He took one shot and scored three points.
Smith is another player that can shoot and play good defense. I do not think he plays
enough. Need to cut down the minutes on Reaves a bit or else he is going to end up
getting hurt. I think towards the end of the fourth he was favoring his foot and was
missing all his shots.
Luka got his thirty plus points and seems to be getting back his legs. He was way out of
shape when he got traded to the Lakers. He does most of his scoring in the first half,
then slows down the second half. But he is young at 25 and will be ready for the
playoffs.
Rui made some big shots tonight. I would like to see him play better defense. He gives a
little to much space on who ever he is defending.
I do not know who Trevor Lane is but he sure keeps on bugging that the Lakers need Bronny
James playing against tough teams like he was on MSN saying that the Lakers had
recalled Bronny from the G League because he had gotten 39 points on the G League and
that it was possible he would have to rescue the Lakers vs Pacers. So he claimed
Bronny was going to be there in today's game. I never saw him and he sure was not needed
as far as I am concerned.
