Some pretty disturbing dialog caught on camera apparently between Hayes & his then-girlfriend from 2021, but even though that seemed settled, NBA has decided to re-investigate:

Yes it was settled, but somebody must have seen the Diddy charges and probably figure there was some money to be made even though it was all here say. Lot of yelling, but no film that he beat the girl up. Hate to see that on these athletes. I hate to see Hayes in trouble. I really like the young man. He gives it 100% when on the court. But Pelinka has been talking about trade possibilities which includes names like D Angelo ,Schifino, Lewis, Kelly, Hachimura and Hayes. A bunch of players for one player from Atlanta which is Trae Young. He is a short good player, but it seems like the Lakers always come out on the short end. Probably will throw in some #1 draft picks.
Seems like Hayes has learned from his mistakes, so hopefully the NBA gives him a break, because he's a big asset for the bench. And yeah definitely a NO trading for Young which would decimating the bench + cost 2 quality starters. It's working right now so don't mess with it.
