Lebron James said "DMarcus Cousins is the best Big Man in the game" and has expressed interest in playing with him. If Boogie is getting healthy and the prognosis is good, and Lebron wants him, the Lakers will probably go after him. Last season before he went down he was averaging 25ppg, 13rpg, 5apg, 22per, while dominating down low and occasionally playing his new role as a stretch 5, which is exactly what the Lakers would be looking for in the offense they want to run. Boogie hit 35% from the 3 last season, and a recent workout video shows he is working on that shot.
The best news here is that it is possible for the Lakers to Max out Lebron, offer DC the short term Max, keep all of their young guns, and sign Julius Randle as well. That sounds like a great plan to me. What do you think?
