To be honest I'm a little skeptical about this signing. Seems like she and Thibs have beef, especially over Derrick Rose's health. There was also a rift between her and Team USA coaching staff a few years back. Let's hope there's no issues going on here.
Hmmm she sounds a bit controversial, but hopefully will bring better proactive injury prevention measures to the squad.
Thibs' beef was with the front office moreso than this woman. She just happened to be the person stuck in the middle. Sounds like she was just doing what her bosses asked her to do. Anyone who's had a boss would do the same. She sounds really talented, which is all that really matters.
Yeah but their beef continued on Team USA a few years back and that has nothing to do with Bulls' FO. But in any case, sometimes all people need is a new start. Can't be easy working with differing opinions about your team/ city's superstar player. So many risks that factor in. She might have been the easiest to blame. If she can come in and focus on her job then she's good, I like how she has specific preparations and training routines for each individual player. At this point the more trainers the better.

Odd how they didn't retain Seto. She didn't leave voluntarily, like Ding reported, they just decided not to retain her. As excited as I am for this new era, this habit of constantly dismissing good people is a bad look. If she wanted to stay, I don't see why you wouldn't keep her, considering all the rave accounts by players and training staff about her.

I always saw her as Kobe's therapist. Every Time I saw her she was working with him or in the vicinity of him. Not sure how true this is though. But in all honesty she, and the Lakers in general have been terrible regarding injury prevention. Not sure what the new hire brings, not like the bulls have been any better in the same time period.
She worked with all the players, not just Kobe. To me, if she was good enough for Kobe to hire her in the first place, she's good enough for the team. This is one of those, "we're making a change for the sake of making a change." There doesn't seem to be any reasoning behind it, especially considering this new lady doesn't seem any more qualified than Seto. If anything it sounds like a downgrade.

I've read it several times. This was a recent one alluding to what you said.
