New Moderators

Okay I think it's about time that the site adds TWO more moderators. LFR & CNicky are doing an awesome job, and since the site is growing so much I think two more mods could make the site even better. If Showtime would still like to be one I would like to nominate him as one of the mods. As for the other mod, to qualify:

1. You visit the site usually during the morning/AM hours

2. You have at least 4 positive votes

3. You have never been banned

4. You're friendly and mellow

The job of a mod is to keep up the quality of the board by enforcing the official rules & guidelines. So that means merging duplicate topics and if necessary kindly remind members who are not following the rules. So if anyone gets out of line flaming another member or posting some link to some nasty crap, a mod would edit the offending post(s).

Let reply to this thread if you are interested. If it gets down between a few great members a vote-off might be necessary- but we'll see.

That was a dumb move on me part. I could have been part of the vet forum and almost be a mod.

IDK drips. If anything PGB, Show or samus should be the next two mods. I dont qualify to be one anymore.

i wouldnt mind at all.....personally i think it should be Show and CHARGE, but if one of the turns it down, ill be honored to take on being a Mod...

topbuzz is like my life. i try to stop posting for a while but i just cant. it helps alot to have a site this great to come to when things are down.

Yeah this site surely is addicting sometimes..

I know I couldnt get away from it since i saw it in 05. then my dad took away my computer and thats when i was gone for that period of time.

I think Show and Charge would be great. This is my vote. They are very level headed.

two more, wow. anything to help make the site better dave and i'm all for it. the way its growing, we definitely need at least another one. showtime is definitely next in my opinion like dave mentioned. the fourth one is definitely something to think about. as dave said, it would have to be someone who comes on in the am hours and throughout the early part of the day. i would like to see someone who has been a member for quite awhile and someone who is well respected here. i think lakerfan8 would be an excellent choice but he doesnt come on too often. charge is a poster that helped make this site what it is today, but dave banned him once so that takes him out of the running since dave made that one of the requirements. this is a tough call because there are a few posters that i think will do a great job but my vote is for purplegoldblood. he is well respected and doesnt create any nonsence threads, plus like charge, he is one of the reasons why LTB is where its at today.

dang. i wish i had the criteria to be a moderator. really though. cyclone nicky is absolutely right. this sight is growing by leaps and bounds. i showed this website to all of my buddies in the clubhouse who are laker fans and they loved it.

dave, i think the fourth mod should be someone who has been a member on LTB for at least a year.

bynumite and noname24, u guys are young but definitely up and commers but like dave said, we need a mod that can be on during the early am ours as well. if im not mistaken you both are 13 years old so that means school will be starting soon and you guys dont need to be staying up worrying about this site at 2 or 3 oclock in the morning. you guys are both accets to this site but its not ur time yet.

You know guys.....I have seen a lot of great name sup for mods like Show, CHARGE,PGB, NN24, LF8 but you are all forgetting someone very important. LKnight has my vote to be a mod as well. He should be up their for consideration.

Ryan has a point. LKnight would be great. He has always been one of my favorites on this site, but I know he has grown frustrated with the negativity over the last week. He also hasn't posted a whole lot as of recently. I still like Charge sliding in at the #4 spot if LKnight can't do it.

As for letting me in on the deal, thanks for the thought guys but it wouldn't be fair to all the guys that are work horses here. I come on every day, but usually in the evening.

My votes. Charge, Lknight, Warren, Bynumite or Noname.

You guys have made great nominations- though I would like the nominated ones say that they are indeed interested. I know that PGB is and he's definitely in the running. Also please keep in mind guys the *4 requirements* I listed. I know some of you would like to be a mod and don't meet the requirements, but I appreciate the enthusiasm and will keep you guys in mind in the future. Again Nick & Ryan have been doing awesome jobs and I hope the additional mods will conduct themselves in the same fine manner they do. Thanks guys!

i think lknight should be given an oppurtunity next to Sho and PGB would be great too for the job.... only thing is, they have to commit to morning hours and i haven't seen too many people on in the mornings lately...
