Hhi guys... What I miss?

Don't misunderstand me Gem- you make good posts for sure. I'm talking about members potentially just saying all sorts of hyperbole, just for trolling sake, but without much basis/stats behind their posts. This rule was actually implemented first at Clippers Topbuzz, and for consistency sake I wanted it to apply for it here as well. Again, like I said, I don't see anyone violating this rule at this time.

Baadmaster, I am still here. Thanks for asking. I'm not really posting on the Lakers for the moment because there is not much for me to post. I have made my feelings clear. We need to lose and lose often to get that Phoenix pick back. It is our only hope right now to give us some very slim, shimmering light during this absolute darkness we are in. As to the topic of Kobe which still is going on so strong, lol. I know my comments got on many fans nerves, including yours. But as I always said back then, time will show who is right and who is not. Time proved me right on everything I was saying about Kobe for years. I said no top free agent in their prime would come play with Kobe, for what were so very obvious reasons. I said Kobe would come back from his injury shooting like crazy to show every one he is still Kobe, which he obviously is not. There are ten or fifteen players, perhaps more, who if they shot as much as Kobe, would score more, given his abysmal shot choices and percentage. When this season is said and done and his biggest idolators are saying he was the oldest player to lead the league in scoring, it will of course be true, and also a sham. He will lead the league in scoring simply because he took an ungodly amount of shots. It is leading the league in scoring through shots taken, hubris and embarrassment. Remember my notorious thread, The Sad, Inevitable End of Kobe Bryant? When I predicted how he would end up, alone, on a bad team, playing one on five? Remember the unrelenting heat I got for that thread, the ridicule, the opprobrium I received, including from you, the....

Yes Sir! I am. And I am waiting execution at the hands of the Patriots if we make the playoffs and and face them, lol.

We did talk briefly last year about the great NFL. Your Boys have made a great comeback this year. HUGE game on Thanksgiving your you!!

Oh no doubt. Hey every team goes through it's ups and downs. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed regarding my Cowboys. You know the history of Romo and Cowboys in general since the Aikman, Smith and Irvin days. I sure would like to join the NFL thread. What's the website?

It is over on the right in the Everything else section. Nice comeback this week. Must have very gratifying for Romo with all the flack he takes about not coming through in the clutch. That was a great game. One of the most exciting of the year. I really look forward to your posts. Do what you want on there, it's not my thread. I just started it. If you want do your top ten, I'd love to see em.

Hey great to hear from you in the main forums Randy! I've moved the Everything Else section to the middle to give the posts there a bit more exposure.

I rarely watch the NFL for three reasons: one, there is no L.A. team. As I have said many times, I am city-o-centric. Second, my live-in gf hates sports, so we reached a compromise: I can watch EVERY NBA game as long as I keep Sundays free for beaching and stuff like that. Third, far too many commercials. Everything is an ad: the Met Life kickoff, the AT&T fumble, the Farmer's field goal, it drives me crazy. I get enough ads with the NBA (Next year they will have ads on their uniforms, like NASCAR). I think my mind needs six months off. Baseball I have always hated. How they pay those salaries when nobody under seventy-five years old watches, I'll never know.

As to the Lakers, I am investigating the Buss family tree. Maybe they are related to the builders of the Titanic.

Dave, A pleasure to be here. Thanks for the welcome! I heard Baad was asking about me so I figured I'd pop in and reply. I appreciated that he did ask. Me and Baad always had a funny relationship here, agreeing sometimes, disagreeing often and never scared to speak our minds either way. It was fun as hell. Never really left, just not writing for the moment like I used to for two reasons. As I told you before with my new job situation and its time constraints it makes things very difficult, and as I told Baad with the Lakers themselves I have nothing to say about the team right now that I haven't said several times in the last couple years, so I will just sit back a while and let things play out on both accounts. I don't even have the time to write on the NFL thread as in depth as I would wish. Just always rushing because of time. It is one of the many reasons I would love to have other fans post there and put up their top ten teams and takes and comments on the league and games and teams. I am pretty sure over time I will become a much more active writer again if I can get some change in the job situation, which has been the largest impediment for me. I would really like that. Baad, It is too bad you're not an NFL fan. You're a prolific writer with strong opinions and you would have brought some real heat on that thread. It would have been fun to have you there. I sympathize with the commercial complaints. It is ridiculous. The cash cow that is the NFL of course is driving that problem. Too much money to be made. The GF thing is very....

I accidentally hit the Ignore button on a post. How can I Unignore him? I know how to do it on a message by message bases but I want to be able to do it for all post and not just one at a time

I've done the same thing a few hopefully it wasn't me you ignored so you see this. Go to the "forum actions " tab and then "manage ignore list". I'm sure you'll figure it out from there.
