Eagles' wide receiver DeSean Jackson has reportedly been dealing with another injury, in addition to his bruised ribs. "He went through an experience there, and I expect him to catch every football," offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg said. "He has to let it go. . . . Bounce back and let's get every one this week." He dropped four passes in the team's loss to the Redskins last Sunday. "He was banged up . . . with two different types of injuries," Mornhinweg said. "He was on the field, and he was playing, and he was playing fast. Now, he's got to finish. We've....

So if the Eagles win, and Tampa loses, the Eagles get in.

The Bucs have Oakland this week, so.....yeah.

LOL...

Russell looks more and more comfortable out there. Who knows....maybe they can pull off the upset

This is the way I see it happening.

Tampa Bay is gonna win, I don't care how comfortable Russell is looking now. So that means the Eagles are gonna miss the playoffs this season.

As for the Cowboys vs Eagles game, the Cowboys are gonna simply dominate it. Newman will slow down any receiver from the Eagles, Romo is gonna have a big game against the Eagles' secondary, and Demarcus Ware is gonna get atleast one sack on McNabb.

Cowboys defeat Eagles, 38-17

I think the Eagles will miss the playoffs, but WIN against the 'boys

Jackson's like 5'10" 160lbs, he's freakin' small, he's one that really has to avoid getting crushed when going down the middle by 230+lb linebackers.

There could be an upset in Tampa, this is the Bucs first game without Kiffin at the helm of the defense. It could either affect them negatively or not at all. Plus, you never know which Raider team is going to show up on Sunday, but you should know by the end of the 1 quarter. I think Tampa will win, but they won't beat the spread (10pts). The Raiders do have a pretty weak run defense, and I think that will be key in their loss, but just remember what Carolina's run game did to Tampa a couple of weeks ago on MNF. Bush, McFadden, and Fargas could all have a good week 17.

I think the Eagles are going to take the Boys. The game is in Philly, the Cowboys are a dome team and they'll most likely be playing in ice cold weather with a chance of snow. It's going to be a defensive game, and I say that Philly's defense is the one that comes out on top. Granted the Cowboys defense has been playing rather good as of late, their run defense looked terrible against Baltimore. Westbrook could just break a few long runs in this game. I also expect to see some dropped passes on TO's part due to the weather conditions as well.

Eagles over Cowboys, 17-13.

1:09 left to play, 31-24 Raiders!!!

LETS GO RAIDERS!

RAIDERS WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on Eagles... all you gotta do now is beat the Cowboys!

Razz

Lions go 0-16!!!!!! I hope Sam Bradford likes cold weather....

I can't believe Tampa lost....

Philly's up 3-0....

Cowboys and Eagles all tied up 3-3

17-3 Eagles!!!!!!

Very Happy

Boooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!(T.O.)

151 yds for McNabb so far! He has been superb

Eagles are gonna win, game over.

Sheldon Brown INT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Flag!

Against the 'boys! Penalty declined...INT!!!!!!

YES! Taking over at our own 48

Romo: 9/16, 51yds, 1 INT

24-3 Eagles!!!!!!

CELEK!!!

Man! WHo needs L.J. Smith?!?

Fumble!!! OMG...we can go for a FG before the half ends! Unbelievable!

27-3 EAGLES!!!!!!!!!

I can already taste the PLAYOFFS!

After it seemed like the Cowboys were gonna score, Dawkins STRIPS Romo, Romo fumbles, and Clemons (the former Raider) returns it for a 73 yard TD

34-3 Eagles!

I LOVE B-DAWK!!!

Dawkins strips another one!!!!!

Another Fumble returned for a TD!!! Hanson!

41-3 PHILLY

Another FUMBLE!!!!!

UNREAL!! LOL

This thread had to be created!

44-3 Eagles so far!

2 forced fumbles by Dawkins, and 1 by Chris Clemons.

We should rest McNabb and put in either Kolb or Feeley

So we'll finish 2nd in our division to the Giants... NICE.

Good season for us

Keep Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb!

See what we can do if we are healthy? The FO just has to land us 1 good WR and we are good to go.

Looks like the Vikings are next up.

lol, I don't know that it did need to be created...not many on LTB seem to watch NFL...

Anyway, good idea for those of us that do.

Historic meltdown by the Cowboys. People were picking that team to win the title...

Anyway, the NFC Playoffs are now set....only one team left to be put in the AFC...

I think I'll make a playoff preview post after Broncos-Chargers is done...

I'm seriously considering skipping Lakers-Warriors to watch this....

Pass interference on the Broncos!!! The Chargers will have the ball with about 6 yards left for the TD!

I dunno, I mean meaningless Lakers game or a very important end of season NFL game?

I'll definitely be flipping the channels back and forth...

It's kinda weird how Favre didn't even end up making the playoffs...

Mad props to Miami though. First pick in the draft to playoff birth...nice.

Chargers - 17

Broncos - 6

Im rooting for the Chargers on this one..

You're welcome 3peat! Very Happy

I'll root for your boys to take the NFC.

Both of my predictions came true (even though I flip flopped a bit with the Oakland game Razz), except I did not see the Eagles destroying the Cowboys. I've gotta call my bro to laugh.

LOL

38-13 Bolts!

Since my team (Patriots, I know, I know, they're in Boston) didn't make the playoffs, I'm rooting for San Diego. I love underdogs. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_19

Im so EXCITED!!!

Eagles-Vikings.

It's certainly going to be a bruiser.

I just won $3000 in a football pool. Shocked

It's not the 10k but it'll do. I still came out of the whole thing one the + side, by about 2500. Very Happy

I just can't wait to bet against Tarvaris Jackson...

Very Happy

That made me pretty angry. I'm not even a Pats fan, but a team finishes 11-5 and doesn't make the playoffs? C'mon....

Playoff preview: NFC Wild Card weekend: 6. Eagles at 3. Vikings - this should be a good one. I believe that the league's two best running will be featuring in this game. I see the Eagles stacking the box, trying to limit AP somewhat and getting a win. McNabb looked a little like the old McNabb against the 'Boys yesterday. Eagles - 24 Vikings - 13 5. Falcons at 4. Cardinals - This one, to me, will be based on the quarterback play. Warner vs. Ryan, give me the veteran in this situation. If Michael Turner can have one his big games, then it may be enough to swing this one, but I don't see it happening. John Abraham could be a game changer in this one as well, if he can get pressure on the immobile Warner, the Falcons will be in good shape. Falcons - 21 Cardinals - 31 Divisional: 6. Eagles at 2. Panthers - the Panthers seem like a perfect playoff team. Dominating running game, dominating defensive line, game changing receiver, and a savvy QB. Delhomme normally is a shaky QB at best, but he really brought out of his best stuff when they made their big playoff run the last time around, he'll have to watch out for guys like Dawkins lurking around. Nevertheless, I think the Panthers will just overwhelm the Eagles in every facet. Eagles - 10 Panthers - 27 4. Cardinals at 1. Giants - I think the G-Men will be fine in this one. They've got one of the best pass rushers in the game in Justin Tuck, and that D-line is pretty good overall. I see the running game being nonexistent for the Cards. Eli will be Eli even without Plaxico... Cardinals - 13 Giants - 24 Championship game: 2. Panthers at 1. Giants - I think the Panthers really learned something from....

2. Panthers at 1. Giants - I think the Panthers really learned something from that week 16 game they played, and that is that the Giants must now will relying heavily on the running game. I think Ward and Jacobs combined for like 300 yds and 3 TD's that game. If the Panthers dedicated themselves to stopping the run, I don't know if the likes of Hixon and Toomer will be enough for Eli. I think they'll get by the Cards because they'll still be able to run effectively and Eli will be able to pick his spots, but not against a defense like the Panthers. They aren't rated well statistically, but they've got some playmakers. Should be a low scoring affair. The NFL will have a new champion.

Panthers - 17 Giants - 10

I definetly think that Carolina should win this year too. But I also think that my Eagles can go far this year. EVERYONE IS FINALLY HEALTY, McNabb is back, and our defense is phenomenal!

Expect Dawkins to be a pusher and EXTREMELY active in the playoffs. Lets get Dawkins, Runyan, Tra Thomas, and Akers the ring they DEFINETLY deserve.

We can certainly win this thing -NO DOUBT.

That's a winning bet. lol. He'll definitely choke in the playoffs.

I said that Carolina and Pittsburgh would be in the SB. I still stand by that.

Eagles-Pits SB.

...and its not a biased statement

Yup. It really stings VS. Well, when Brady got injured I already saw the writing on the wall. They almost made it though.

Took me about twelve hours, but.... AFC Wild Card Weekend: 6. Ravens at 3. Dolphins -- love the 'Fins in this one. They just don't turn the ball over. Period. Ravens have a good defense as always led by Lewis and Reed, but I can definitely see the "Wildcat" being effective here. I'm sure they've saved up a few variations of it to use for the playoffs. I don't trust rookie Matt Ryan against Warner, and I certainly don't trust rookie Joe Flacco against Pennington. Ravens - 10 Dolphins - 20 5. Colts at 4. Chargers -- if this had been the Broncos, I would have been 100% sure that the Colts would win, but now? I don't know what to think. The Chargers are pulling off one of those "We're not really a good team, but we're peaking at the perfect time" things. I don't know why, but I actually think the Chargers are going to win this. Addai has had a horrible season all year and age has finally caught up with Harrison. If they double up Wayne all game; that'll probably be all they need. I'm picking a team that was at one point in the season 4-8, to win a playoff game. Crazy. LT supposedly has a groin injury though... Colts - 17 Chargers - 28 Divisional: 3. Dolphins at 2. Steelers -- I would've picked the Steelers to maybe win the Superbowl a few weeks ago, but who knows how bad Roethlisberger's injury is? I hope it isn't bad, but post-concussion symptoms can be pretty horrible for anyone...especially a QB. I don't think either team will be able to score at all, but I don't know if I can trust a woozy Big Ben in a close game. But, but all accounts, he's okay. I'm wary of betting on this one, but I'll....

Current Vegas betting odds for the NFL playoffs (chances that the team will win the Superbowl)

Arizona - 50-1

Baltimore - 12-1

Atlanta - 20-1

Carolina - 5-1

Indianapolis - 10-1

Miami - 25-1

Minnesota - 25-1

Giants - 5-2

Eagles - 10-1

Steelers - 9-2

San Diego - 10-1

Tennessee - 6-1

Tennessee at 6 to 1 looks pretty nice....
