His BS coaching is costing us easy games. KCP over Lance when you clearly need a veteran presence on the court with Rondo and Lebron out.

Zubac should be in there too, he can be atleast a threat down low.

We should not warrant any of this coaching when we clearly could have won most of our games that are winnable. I know Jeanie Buss likes him but Magic & Rob should fire this guy. Early the better.

Coaching can't control players missing late game FTs, which is actually the majority of the reasons for most of our close game loses. I am curious as to who you think we should replace him with this season? I think overall, Luke has done a good job with our team.

I suppose he is doing his best with a bunch of amateurs. I'm still not sure how a group of so called Professional NBA players can't hit a barn at the free throw line. Maybe they don't practice that because they are all terrible. Remember the "Hack a Shaq" days? Other teams can literally hack our entire squad. Again, take a lesson from Kobe. Get in there and put in some work.

If it was so easy, all players would be great at the line. Yes the Lakers are poor as a team but I would expect that from a team that lacks shooting. Kobe was only 84% at the line through his career. You can work all you want, it doesn't mean it's going to translate to success.

As for Luke, I have said before that he isn't the coach of the franchise long term. There isn't anyone to replace him with that's much of an upgrade right now though.

Fire Luke and let LeBron become a player/coach. Better still, let LeBron become the first NBA player/coach/GM! Still better, LeBron becomes player/GM/coach/assistant coach. Even more amazing: LeBron becomes player/GM/coach/assistant coach/ball boy!

Yeah, that's the ticket!

Luke again fail to put Kuz early in the 4th and we entirely lost the lead. He got outcoached again tonight.

This post is not because I am a Kuz fan but as an objective fan. Kuzma -- and Lance -- are the only guys who can give us Klay-esque three point streaks. They have the shooters mentality which is "miss seven in a row, make seven in a row." Unfortunately, Luke pulls them out before the second half of that equation.

Luke is one awful coach. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

ADDENDUM: BI should spend less time in the tattoo parlor (as I said, I am inked so consider the source) and more time practising foul shots. But even if he did, he STILL is a HIGH DRAFT PICK BUST.

Trade him before he totally craps out.

I don’t think LebOn is going to keep Luke around. I’m sure he is going to tell Magic to do something, perhaps bring in Lue or LeBrOn will coach. You can tell how some of Luke’s decisions get him worked up.

I reiterate my call from the start of the season to take out this incompetent Coach Walton. This coach does not have the ability based on experience on designing plays and worst his decision making in the rotation specially during tight games are all controversial. There is so much critics on certain players who is said that they don't have defense. But defense start on how you set it up or how you designed it to be,the cuts, the screens, and this is the job of the coach which he performs poorly. The sooner Lakers get rid of this coach, the better for the team.

Maybe Luke just needs a little more practice, after all he was an assistant ocoach of the Warriors but I think that Steve Kerr felt Luke wasn’t quite ready.

At the end of the day, all that matters is what LebrOn wants. He’s running the club now. If Luke is working for LebrOn then I would guess he’s staying. LebrOn has an eye for good coaches

Think its the other way around, Lebron makes mediocre coaches good and good coaches great. Coaches in Cleveland weren't so good without him on team.

But you could say that about most of the coaches in league, most of the coaches consider great have at least 1 or 2 great players.

Mike Brown is a good example.

Luke should be improving as time goes by. Mike Brown looked like a super star coach when he was with Cleveland so I’m guessing Luke is going to come out if this in good shape

I don't see how Luke can survive this loss.

He is a bad coach for this team. Should’ve been fired asap. We can't lose to Knicks and Cavs.

Why is Hart -- shooting 2/13 -- even on this team?

And why is Walton still allowed to coach this team?

The Los Angeles UNWATCHABLES.

Repped High Quality Post

I wouldn't fully blame everything on coach yet.. These players sucks, seems low basketball iq. Too many wannabe hero ballers, too many miss free throws. crappy offense, they expect others to create easy offense for them and can't create their own shots etc. Instead of playing as a team, these players are trying too hard to play one on one to show off but so far failing
