Hard Cap Rules and Penaltys!!

Hard Cap for LTB for Season 3 is set at $80,000,000.(This is high compared to what it should be at).

What this means is that if your team is above $80,000,000, then you will face "Tax Penaltys".

Here are some of the Penaltys.

$1-$1,000,000 Over - You will not be allowed to Offer your MLE or LLE in the offseason...Only Min contracts.

$1,000,000 - $5,000,000 Over - You will loose exactly 75% of your cash balance, and it will be given to the team with the second worse record in the league.

$5,000,000 - $10,000,000 Over - You will loose your top pick in the draft and it will be given to the worst team in the league

$10,000,000 + Over - You will loose your star player for exactly half the season(60 days).

Basically if you are over the hard cap and dont want to get penalized then you better shed some salary.

Before the Draft if any team is above that number they will be penalized.

Do expiring contracts come off your roster before or after the draft?

its after will. It means u have to be lower than 80m b4 the deadline.

this starts next year right. since nobody knew the penalties.

My guess would be that it's just one. And it starts this year, it's just the penalties get handed out right before the draft, so you have time to shed some salary.

So do I get 75% of a bunch of peoples money because I have the second worst recond in the league?

lol... I guess I dont get any money... But usally Penalties become effective at the start of the season... not at the end.

if we are over 10M do all of those things happen or just the one in the category

hard cap penalty's will be changed a bit......and no you only get one thing happen......this is just so you get an idea of whats coming to you.
