I don't think that the reporter realizes that his beloved Celtics are going to get man handled here in LA.

i dont even wanna read it, its not worth it.

the paper is right..until you beat someone, we are not the toughest competition. We need to do more than make some noise. We need to maintain and continue to improve. At the end if we do this, people will be singing a different tone about us. We love LA...we love it...

hahahahah i stopped reading when it said except utah its not the toughest competition, were 1-1 against utah and have no doubt we will smoke them along with the celtics this week, im going to the celtic game to watch them get owned by the best in the west

we are not tough competition?? ahaha watch their record after they face the west

I'm sick of celtics crap. I'd love to watch the lakers finish them of in nba finals

It's alright...they're starters play 40+ minutes per game...that's won't help come playoff time...and it won't help when they have to play a deep team whether it's the playoffs or regular season...Detroit is deep, San Antonio is deep, the Lakers are deep...Boston will stumble and have a real hard time getting back on two feet...but by the time they do, time will have passed them up...

agree..the big 3 are gonna be worn out when playoff time comes

man celtics fans and writers are becoming A**holes they would still suck if kevin mcahale gift wrap keving garnet to celtics.

You know what's weird about the Celtics...last year they were chanting MVP to Kobe & this year they think they are the best...I'm gonna say what everybody is thinking...they haven't proven anything...they lost the their only big game of the year so far, and that was against the Pistons...a team they will have to go through in the playoffs...they remind me of the Knicks' fans...they will boo their team at times like now, but if they start winning regularly they will cheer their team on and act like they were never booing...I can't picture Laker fans chanting MVP to anybody from an opposing team, let alone their rival from back in the day, the Celtics...

They are given way too much credit. Their record is deceiving and all writers who make them look great know that. Most are just too scared to write any different. What did Ray Allen ever do for the Sonics? Same thing goes to Paul Pierce. All of a sudden they are so great. They were never able to do it when they were "leaders" of their teams. I'm not talking championships but at least playoffs. I will not take anything from KG but there is something about him that does not equal championships.

Paul Pierce - clutch performer. he made many many game winning shots. Can take it to the hole or pop the trey in your face.

Ray Allen - also clutch, sinking many many game winners in Seattle and even a one or two in Boston. Best shooter in the NBA. Plays good D too. Will probably surpass Reggie in banking the most 3 pointers in NBA history before he retires.

Kevin Garnett- you know all about him, hes phenomenal. Plays games with such great intensity that it makes every player on the team better.

All 3 superstars just didn't have the supporting cast to be sucessful. Now they do. They can shut teams down. E.g. knicks to 50 some points? noone else did that to them. Kings to 69? Boston is legit, they'll be top 1 or 2 at the end of the season. Boston isn't perfect, they have their flaws, e.g. needs experienced PG and 1 more key bench player, but don't underestimate them.

They don't have a supporting cast...they are 7 players & a rookie doing everything...Allen, Pierce, & KG all play over 40 minutes per game...maybe Doc Rivers should give them a rest when they are up 30 points on their opponent...3 superstars, 2 role players, 2 bench players, & 1 rookie...Posey & House can't do it all by themselves...and Glen Davis is a Big Baby...hahaha...the reason Rondo & Perkins are starting is because that's the best they have...the Celtics sent everything they had to get KG & Allen...so when the playoffs role around and Detroit is abusing them because of how tired they are, they can blame their coach...

Very biased article.

lol because of that one line that says Utah is the toughest competition.. relax. The artical was a bunch of stats followed by quotes.
