Lakers at Heat Game Day 2026-03-19
Lakers Forum » Lakers Game DayThis should be an easier game then what they had last night, but as we all know that any team in the NBA can upset a good team. So the Lakers need to play good defense especially against Adebayo. Double him up and force him to pass the ball or steal it from him. Another player not sure if he is healthy now is Herro. He was on a hot streak for a while, so Smart has to stay close to him.
Adebayo is only 6'9" playing center, so Ayton and Hayes should be able to get their way tonight.
Lakers should win, but like I have said before, depends which Laker team shows up. It is a back to back.
LeBron , Luka and Austin are listed as Day to Day so I think we can assume that at least one of these guys will be out. Probably LeBron. He was playing like he was 20 years old again last night.
Given the back to back, defense will likely take a hit so expect a higher scoring game and more bench players getting some run. Two forwards are out for Miami so it's guards and Centers basically. If we can keep BAM under 70, hehe, I think the Offensive run that the Lakers are on will continue and Miami will not be able to keep pace, especially in the 4th quarter, the Lakers new Secret Weapon....
Miami's Centers and Guards are moving faster than the Lakers across the board.
Either the Lakers have to speed up or slow them down or its gonna be a long night.
Miami brought speed against our sluggish Lakers. I guess it is because it is a back to back game. But I noticed the Laker defense was all one on one defense. You got to help when they get into the painted area and take the ball away from them or make them turn the ball over.
Finally towards the end of the second quarter the Lakers started helping each other instead of the one on one defense and they closed the spread of twelve down to six.
Also we need other players to step up on offense instead of just waiting for LeBron or Luka to do all the shooting. Kennard, LaRavia and Rui need to step it up.
Since this is a back to back game, maybe JJ should play that lazy Vando. His legs should be well rested.
Most of those players for Miami are real young players and they are using their speed to beat the Lakers so far.
The Lakers are standing around on offense when Luka gets the ball...
Luka has to get his teammates involved but he's inclines not to and relying upon himself.
This is when JJ must step in and remind the team to keep the ball moving.
Lakers arrived in Miami at 5AM today.
I assume they did not get much sleep since that time...
How about Luka with *60* after that last FT! Another win- a back to back nonetheless. 8 in a row!
Great come from behind to take full control the whole second half to win the game. Luka 60 points tonight. Lakers win by eight.
Some players are going to have to step up next time. Luka and LeBron can not be doing all the scoring. LaRavia I believe only scored three points, Kennard did not even attempt a shot. Vando did has not played in the last three games. He must be in the dog house with the coaches, or they just do not like his attitude when he is in. Something wrong with that dude.
