What are your predictions? Any injury updates to share?

The next four games coming up will tell us where the Lakers are as far as to being a good team or a bad team. If they can win convincingly against the Knicks, Timberwolves, Bulls and Denver, I will say they have a good chance of representing the west.

But, the Lakers don’t play well in afternoon games. They also don’t play well in back-to-backs, games on holidays, mountain altitude games, games in the upper north east corner, or games on days that end in Y for that matter. I know, I’m a negative person. This team hasn’t really given me something to look forward to watching. Lately, I’ve been recording the games. If they win, I watch it. If they lose, I hit the delete button and come here to ***** about it.

Knicks are a united team and they are on a roll. Many predict they will reach the finals this year...

I think the game will bring out the defense in the Lakers and depending whether LeBron's elbow is OK to let him play this afternoon, the Lakers need Austin and others to contribute to have a chance.

I think that despite his lack of confidence and in game lethargy, JJ needs to find a way to get Dalton back on the court. He has not been the same since the near Williams trade. Hire a psychologist if needed, but get him some PT. What a tool a guy who can score 20 in a flash could be moving towards the playoffs...

I understand my thoughts and comments are harsh. However, this is how I truly feel as a die-hard Lakers fan ever since the 4th grade 44 years ago. I love the pregame and post game shows. For years they’ve been a big part of the game prep experience. It’s unwatchable now. They have jobs to do praising the team, since they work for the team. The delusion is disheartening. Bragging about a 41 year old player coming in early for a game he’s not playing in and praising his workethic is, ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC! This dead-end season can’t end quick enough! Get rid of James and get a competitive team on the court that at least can contend. Right now this organization is leaking. I no longer watch the pre or post game shows. I have no interest in mediocrity!

So far so good with solid defense and offense lead by Reaves. Lakers up 71-60 with a good 3rd Q thus far.

Lakers up by 23 in the 4th and the Knicks limited to 71 points only due to exceptional lakers Offensive Rebounds and Defense is crazy!

And just like that, a 12 point run by the Knicks...

Lakers trying to close it out here- that was a huge strip by Smart

Kennard, calls game with that dagger triple!

Superb defense was the key- despite giving up some good looks, for the most part guys closed out to challenge Knicks' 3 point shooters. Then on D they stopped Brunson's drives without fouling.

Lakers played a really good game today against the Knicks. Reaves was back to the Reaves that we know. Maybe because LeBron was off, Reaves pick up the slack.
