Suns two top scorers are injured defaulting to Jalen Green (Still marginally injured), Allen and Gillespie who combined average about 44ppg. With more shots available, perhaps 50 but way short of what they will need to win.

Yes I agree the Lakers should win tonight. But I think there might be some players on the Laker team that are not happy with the loss to the Magic. I think Luka needs to step up his game and start making some free throws. If he can make those three point shots, he should be shooting 99% on the free throw line. Also stop the complaining about everything, from bad calls made by the ref's to making faces like if he is really hurting from an injury.

Ayton needs to stop complaining after the post briefing by the coach. He is in danger of not even being in the NBA if he does not improve his game. He can be better because I remember when he was with the Sun, he was very good. But other teams have said that he is a complainer in the locker room. I also notice he misses a lot of games for personal reasons. That alone raises a red flag. We do not expect him to be like Capela, but at least get more rebounds. Stay close to that painted area. Be ready to catch the ball, I see too many passes to him that are fumbled out.

There obviously was a problem also with Reaves in the first half of the Magic game. Him not scoring at all? Then comes and scores 18 points after the half, all in the third and fourth quarter. I imagine he had JJ on his face at the half. He needs to be more consistent in his game. All those actions contributed towards the loss to a team they should have beaten.

We’re talking about the Lakers here. Have to call a spade a spade. They’re not very good and could let some rando have a career night. And the end of the day, we can’t expect this team to get very far in a playoff push. I don’t like Barkley, but I think he was right. This Lakers team will struggle with any team in a best of 7 series. Wolves, Rockets, Spurs, Nuggets, etc…. Doesn’t matter. With that said, I’m hoping for a win.

WHAT A PASS by Smart to AR in the corner, who had a clean look, but it didn't go. Yet another tough one to swallow.

This team is absolute garbage. Maybe they are trying to tank? Probably a little late in the season to bring out the tank, but I wouldn’t put it passed this team… Man, I’m pissed. Time to take my step back from this crap. Not worth it.

I got to agree with Angelus. This team is not going anywhere this season. They could not beat a Suns team without Brooks and Booker is shameful. This Lakers are not playing good and JJ just can not see that. He has a bench that he hardly uses. If a starter is not playing up to par, he should pull somebody off the bench and let them play, can not be any worse then what the starter is doing.

The shot that won the game for the Sun, there was no defensive move by any Laker towards the player that took the shot to win it. Wide open!

I wasn't able to watch the game but I just watched the highlights which looked like a 3 point shooting competition.

Looking at the box score, the same situation as the last few games was evidence which is Top heavy with Luka dominating the box score with little to no involvement from the bench.

That's JJ's fault who seems to equate being behind on the score and staying with the starters.

The Suns played the exact game you would expect them to play and the Lakers followed it as if helpless to do anything else.

Ayton only had 2 points! That is also the fault of JJ and Luka...

Watching Cleveland the other day and seeing the Beard run the show and Mitchell at the two, it occurred to me that the Lakers would benefit from doing the same.

Luka relies on skill and Reaves relies on smarts. That's not cut and dry but I think playing Luka at the two, if only periodically, would allow for challenging sets for the defense and let Luka fire up three which he is inclined to focus upon as the PG anyway... The Clips are playing better without Harden and you might recall the beginning of the season when Reaves was playing better than Luka.

Luka hoarding the ball, which is the correct word, tends to freeze Reaves out of the game as well. Perhaps this, the never ending arguing with the refs (rather than getting back on defense), as well actual defense is what Nico Harrison saw which led to the trade. Stated another way, who gives a crap that Luka had 41, when a slightly different and more selfless approach would product a logical victory?

As a comparison, OKC had 10 players in double figures in their last game with Shai out and that didn't include Caruso. Speaking of Caruso, imagine the benefits of having him back on the team right about now. The Lakers tonight had 5 and the Suns 4. You can see the type of game it was simply from the box score numbers.

If Ayton was so terrible, why not play Timme, our 3 point shooting center?

If the ball was not falling for Reaves, why not get Bufkin and Smith in the game? This also would increase the speed of the team on the court for the Lakers.

So many small things were clearly not done! Maybe the mafia is threatening JJ and Luka to lose, or their goldfish will be whacked?

Yeah should've played Kleber more with Timme not available. And Vando only 6 minutes when that x factor to secure some of those rebounds was much needed. It's a head scratcher.

Ayton seems to be unhappy claiming Lakers are trying to make him Clint Capella. I mean, Clint Capella was a pretty good player. I suppose DeAndre believes he's not getting nearly as many touches as he should be getting. But saying something like that publically- that's not going to endear him to his teammates or the front office.

I don’t know man. I feel like they are attempting a garbage approach, more than half way through the season, waste of Luka’s short time with us, tanking expedition that will help us get a better draft pick that we won’t play anyway, especially considering they just hired that dude Bennet to rebuild college scouting operation. This team is unbearable to watch if they are actually trying.

I’m going to stop watching unless they turn things around. This team causes my blood pressure to increase and I don’t need that. If they don’t care enough to try to win games, then why should I care. They have managed a single win since the AS break. Most of those games were winnable games, especially last night. PHX was handing us the game with their two starters out and we still blew it. I mean, I did call it. You can’t expect this team to win against any team. They will find a way to **** it up. I’ll be here and posting, but not watching until I see at least three consecutive wins. Even saying three consecutive wins makes me laugh. I may not watch until next season!!!!
