The Lakers (16-11 at home) host the Magic, who are 12-15 on the road. LAL is favored by 4.5 points.

What are your predictions? Who should get more playing time?

I believe JJ should use the two power forwards from the bench more which are Kleber and Timme. To me Ayton used to be a good center. Now he is not what he used to be. He is poor at catching the ball, usually a turn over. He does not protect the paint as he should, and he does not move around to fence up.

Also Luka and LeBron need to get everybody involved on defense as well as offense, that will spread the opponents defenses.

I also hope the ref's do a better job then what they did on the Celtics game. There were some terrible calls made. Not the reason all together why the Lakers lost, but it just takes away a lot from the game when you have bad officiating.

I love the new opening messages on the game thread. Much better than the old one. Does AI generate that? I am building an aviation application right now and using AI a lot to help me code.

Glad you like it! Yup it helped me create and style it, though I had to tweak it quite a bit. AI has been very helpful- speeds up development for sure.

For this game, hitting 3's and not turning the ball over are keys as Magic plays good defense. Also can't let guys like Bane & Wagner get open looks from deep.

Luka gets raked in the eye by Wagner- hopefully it's not serious.

Lol vision is just fine as he drills the triple after shaking Wagner badly

I confused Orlando with Charlotte when Guessing the Game Score.

Charlotte is on fire right now, while Orlando, not so much...

LeBron with his patented chase down block on Black's layup!

Ayton with a nice half thus far- the easy turnaround inside, now the and 1!

I did not think the Lakers played good. Reaves was not playing good like he is capable. LeBron has three or more turn overs. Luka can not shoot free throws. LaRavia has not scored so far. Smart is either feast or famine and I believe he has two points. The only player that has shown some improvement on his game tonight is Ayton.

Hope the Lakers play better the second half, they are only up by three at the half.

Luka gotta get back on D- complaining about the lack of a call and allowed the Magic to get the and 1.

Ouch- bricks and now driving layup by Bane and the Magic now lead by 83-81

Talk about lucky- Bane chucks in a looong 3 to beat the shotclock for his first triple

Reaves a big time triple despite the defender not biting for any of the fakes. He's had quite the second half after not scoring in the first.

AR taking over the Laker offense, and 1 floater!

Giant triple by LaRavia to tie it at 98!

Luka able to hit the triple at the end of the clock, 103-101 Lakers!

Luka great effort there trying to save the ball, jumps over the first row. Sheesh that looked dangerous but he's fine.

Rui the monster corner 3! He's so clutch from there.

Good chance for a 2 for 1 here

What a play- Lebron unimpeded to the rim, great find by Luka

Ugh yet ANOTHER offensive rebound by Orlando. Lakers down 1, but plenty of time here with 6.7 seconds to go. Need to shoot it though with 3 or 4 ticks left though in case of a miss.

Luka for some reason didn't shoot it while wide open. He got trapped and Lebron had to shoot a prayer which didn't go. Tough, tough loss.

Luka was out of sorts tonight.

He seemed to be doubting himself on the final shot, having had a bad game shooting.

The Lakers tend to lose to young athletic teams.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but the Lakers missed Jackson Hayes tonight.

His energy on the boards would have limited the endless offensive rebounds they gathered, including the shot that put them ahead.

Just one extra rebound by Jax would have made the difference in the game for the Lakers.

He wasn't trapped.

The reverse angle showed that he has time and space to take that shot...

I think that JJ needs to play the bench more.

Tonight would have been ideal with both Luka and Reaves having poor shooting nights.

Not playing Timme is shortsighted.

Never playing the young guards is short sighted.

Agreed...

I have book looking to other sites for that information including ESPN for injuries.

I can only blame Doncic for playing so bad tonight against the Magic. He had plenty of time to take the shot with only six seconds left, he did not and instead passed the ball to LeBron with the time running out. Plus like I posted before, he is terrible lately on making free throws. Big disappointment on the loss.
