Lakers vs. Spurs Game Day 2026-02-10

What are your thoughts on the upcoming contest vs. the Spurs? What must the Lakers do earn a W? Which Spurs player should L.A. focus on? Will the game be a high-scoring affair or a defensive struggle? Any injury updates to share?

Might as well sit this one out boys. No Luka and no Reeves. They have collectively decided to scrap this game and give the fans a big middle finger. $20 Luka plays for the A.S. game though. Priorities....

I just read that LeBron, Luka, Reaves are not playing tonight. Bad legs on all three.

So it will be a blood bath tonight on the Lakers in tonight's game. A game like this which will be lop sided usually gets coaches fired.

I read that the Lakers shopped Dalton heavily leading to the trade deadline.

I just tuned in to watch the game and the entire starting lineup is out. Are you kidding me? I was getting hyped about this team again before the OKC game. Luka was out but we’re clearly not ready. We can’t beat the elite teams so we’re all going to go through a slow death until May. So, since the starters took the night off I’m doing the same, just like I did in preseason when the starters never played. I didn’t watch the games and I’m not going to watch tonight’s game either! This modern day crap is for the birds!

I think Luka is going to be out for awhile including the All Star game.

He is better to wait than making the injury worse and being out for the rest of the season...

Truth is that the Spurs would beat the Lakers at full strength.

I just do not understand what kind of coaching the Lakers have, but they just do not play any defense. I would go right at the big guy and get him in foul trouble. But if he is left wide open, he could break Kobe's record of 81. Wemby is wide open guarded by a 6'5" Kennard is just not going to stop a center that is over seven foot five.

Lets play some defense guys. I kind of feel bad about the Laker players because most of the players that we have on the floor never get any minutes. So there is no way of competing against on of the better teams in the NBA.

Coaches who were guards do not generally know how to coach bigs...

My wife and I were talking about that earlier. I have some time off of work and we thought, “Why not see a Laker game.” I would have been pissed if it was this game.

I kind of enjoyed watching Laker players I never knew they had. But I guess nobody teaches this young guys how to play some defense. The only way to stop a real tall player like Wemby is to go right at him and let him foul you. Get him in foul trouble or when he gets the ball double him right away because if you do not, he is so tall he can shoot over most players.

But the Spurs have a lot of good players this season. They have a good chance of going all the way. They have beaten OKC this season.

The bench of the Lakers scored enough points to win on any night, but they did not make any stops to win. I thought Wenby was going to break Kobe's high score of 81.

Yes I agree about Timme. But I surprised how good Kleber also plays. Lately I have like Kleber's game better then Ayton.
