Both teams are hurting. Luka will probably not play. So it all depends what Laker team will show up. We will need Rui and LaRavia to step up. Sometimes these two disappear. LeBron has to stop making some dumb passes and turning too many times the ball.
I am hoping that our new addition will play tonight. Kennard is a very good shooter. I would also like to see more minutes for Knecht since the Lakers decided to retain him, lets get him some minutes and develop this kid. He has shown some interest on the game lately and has been moving around dunking which is different, because he was always kept on the three point line.
Kennard will go for 16 pts

I hope that Kennard comes and shoots the lights out tonight. We really need a three point specialist who isn't named Luka or Austin. I just hope it isn't one of those situations where we bring somoene in specifically for their shooting ability and they forget to shoot when they put on the purple and gold. Seen that way too many times.
Luka is out but I'm certain Reaves will match his mojo.
Kennard is a good pickup despite the fact that trading Knecht would have been better.
Kennard, given PT, is a 15-3-3 player....
He's JJ Jr.. Same skills and pedigree.

Just paddin' my stats...
I agree and Cam Thomas is waiting to be picked up by the Lakers.
He would not be happy not starting, but he probably will not fully recover from his Hamstring issues until next season either.
Thomas was predicted to average more than 30 ppg this season.
He's a poor man's Donovan Mitchell.
Reaves is not starting...
The Warriors defense is better than I remember.
They are keeping the Lakers on edge and forcing shots...

Keep getting the message that I'm sending the same text which is not allowed.
Then it posts duplicate text...
Cue the X-Files theme!
Welcome to LA with a 3 Luka Kennard...
First quarter - Poor shooting - Low Score 21-20 Warriors ahead...
Too many turn overs by LeBron and LaRavia. LaRavia is not a good player. He will score every once in a long while, but he really is not a good athletic player. I think they have around nine turn overs at the half. LeBron looks sick or just maybe old age, but he looks like the walking dead.
Reaves has lots of energy, but he is doubled through most of the game. Kennard has taken two shots and has five points. Lakers did not look good the first half with the exception of Kennard. The rest of the Lakers including Hayes looked tired. Hope they can snap out of that lazy walk and play good the second half.
Nifty move by Smart with the scoop after the tip up by Vando!
Reaves the crossover, then the double clutch layup. Just his second bucket, but that could get him going.
Big triple by Rui who's simply deadly from the corner to get the Lakers back up 8 at the end of 3Q
Good unselfish passing by the Lakers as layups by Reaves and now Vando spearhead the 7-zip run. Timeout Worriers!
Reaves gets knocked down by Green with an elbow from the blind side. Kleber comes in and gets into Green's face. Maxi now the block!
Kennard in there during crunch time, playing over LaRavia and Rui. He played pretty well in his debut- hit some shots and made good passes.
Not the prettiest game, but key performances from Vanderbilt, Smart and Kleber lead the way, especially defensively and on the boards.
Lol during the postgame interview, Lebron refuses to pick a favorite for the superbowl even after some prodding
Good finish in the fourth quarter by the Lakers. LeBron turned the ball over too many times. He claimed it was the jet lag and that is why the Lakers looked tired he claimed.
I really liked the way our center played tonight Kleber. He got rebounds, scored and played good defense.
I like Kennard also, it was a good pickup.

Unfortunately, Pelinka blew that opportunity as well. Cam ended up signing with the Bucks for chump change, Pelinka prioritized signing Bufkin from the G-league on a two-year contract, who now occupies our 15th roster spot. I’m starting to think Pelinka is just a massive troll who gets a rise out of being completely incompetent. Is he a super genius or just a complete waste of all our times. What do you folks think?
I believe that Pelinka knows that he is under strict orders from above to watch his spending because the Luxury tax hits hard. So with what they are paying LeBron and Luka it eats up most of the budget. I believe they are waiting for LeBron to retire and free up millions, but that will not happen until season is over.
Pelinka is terrible when it comes to acquiring free agents or making trades. Even with all the money, he will bungle it.
Pelinka likes shopping for jackets more than doing his job. I know lets wait to make a trade or trying to get a championship. So tired of pelinka's BS.
I agree
any news on Haywood Highsmith?
OKC up by nine at the half. They are taking advantage of the Laker turn overs and they are a tall team. So it is going to be tough on the Lakers tonight. Seems like Luka is always injured going against good teams.
Lakers need to get tough on defense. Seems like they always do that only on the fourth quarter. LOL
