How will the Lakers do in the upcoming contest vs. the Nets? The guys must do what well to get the W? Who on the Nets should LA be wary of? Will the game be a high-scoring affair or a defensive struggle? Who should get more playing time?

Lakers are not playing good, so I am not looking for the Lakers to win.
Pelinka and the organization are stalling again on making a move to improve the team. In my opinion they are not going to do anything making all kinds of excuses. As far as to Lebron leaving to go to the Cav's? I do not think the Cavaliers want him. I heard one player come up to the microphone and he said it, that their man is Donavan Mitchell, nobody else.
So what Pelinka will do is maybe get some player from the G league.
I think LeBron has too much invested here in California and will retire as a Laker. He wants to buy into the Laker organization, but the Buss family do not want it.

I sometimes feel that this franchise is incapable of making trades. Granted, we had the Luke trade around this time last year, but I don’t know if that speaks to Pelinka’s genius or to Nico being an idiot and fumbling their franchise player. I think Luka just fell into our lap because their GM was having a breakdown. What has Pelinka done aside from that? I know there are other variables involved , for example, teams increasing the asking price for ANY player when the Lakers are included in the conversation, but he’s not a very good GM. The asking price issue should be investigated by the league in my opinion. You have a player who is on the trading block and team A (call them the Warriors) is willing to give them a sack of coal and a late 2nd round draft pick. Lakers get involved in the conversation and we are expecting to dump our entire roster and include multiple first round draft picks? How is that considered acceptable by the NBA? To me, that should be a massive issue and the trading team should be fined. I know there are other implications, but how is that okay?
There are some stupid trades that went down today. Namely the Bulls Vucevic for the Celtics Anfernee Simons.
The Bulls already have capable guards and as a rule you never trade a big for a guard.
Get ready for the Lakers to do the same thing. The Font Office will likely trade Rui and Knecht for some parallel 3&D dude with a reputation for defense. He will come in and play less defense than Rui and the Lakers will repeat the pattern next season.
The Lakers need to learn to bunt rather that seeking a Grand Slam with nearly every trade. The LeBon story regarding discontent in LA is now extended to the Summer, but why do that. Get Giannis now. Send LeBron to Cleveland and be done with it..

You hit the nail on the head my friend. Pelinka is trash. The sooner we get rid of him, the better off we will be.
A dominant performance by the Lakers- good to see Reaves back too.
Yes the Lakers looked pretty good tonight, but again to a below 500 team. I believe the Nets have only won 13 wins and 35 losses.
Maybe now that Reaves come back the Lakers can start winning against good teams. Lets see how they do at home the next seven games coming up. Most are pretty good teams.
