Lakers at Portland Trail Blazers Game Day 2025-04-13

Lakers Forum » Lakers Game Day

What are your thoughts on the game coming up versus the Portland Trail Blazers? What must the Lakers do earn a victory? Which Blazers player should Los Angeles focus the D on? Will the game be up-and-down type or low-scoring? Any injury updates to share?

I believe only the bench will play to prevent anymore injuries. Seemed like LeBron might have sustained some kind of injury or maybe it is just mother nature taking hold of a 41 year old NBA player. Never know!

Bronny should get plenty of playing minutes this time. So far seems like he has been practicing his shooting. Two games now I have seen him hit a three pointer. So maybe I was wrong about the kid being ready for the NBA. We will see!

Dave, are you continuing 'Guess the Game Score' through the playoffs or is Sunday the last day? I recall that you ended it at the end of the regular season last year.

Regarding Portland, do not sleep on them. Sharpe and Advija are playing out of their minds right now.

I predict the Lakers win, but it will be a harder victory than the win against the Mavericks.

Not sure who is playing on either team, so it is hard to make a prediction as to who I think will win. Naturally I would like to see the Lakers win, but even if they lose because I believe they will rest most of the starters before the playoffs begin.

All starters sitting against Portland...

Only Ayton and Grant are out for Portland... So Simons, Sharpe (25 ppg recently), Henderson and Avdija (30ppg recently) against our bench squad...

With this information, likely a Portland win by a small margin and Dalton will score more than 30 points...

Our guards always have to rebound because our centers can't

Len is simply garbage. No wonder the Kings let him go. I figured the Laker B squad was going to be slaughtered, but the Lakers had nothing to loose. They gave the starters a rest which is good, they had already locked up third place. Not sure who they will face in the first round of the playoffs, but all the west is going to be tough. I think the Clippers beat the Warriors today. So I think the Warriors will be in the play in group.

I figured that Koloko's and Jemison's agents would have told them to play their behinds off tonight to leave a final positive impression.

Did not happen and I do not expect to see those guys on the roster next season...
