Thoughts on this? Not familiar with him, but not impressed with his stats. I’d almost take a Mo Bamba or Dwight Howard, but again, I don’t know a lot about Len.

A big body whose better days are behind him. Not a bad pick up for the buyout market. I think they signed him over Bamba for a possible match up with Joker in the playoffs.

Len no doubt has the size, but did not get much playing minutes in Sacramento. Here is where the Laker comes into place. I am sure they have a coach who will work with the big man. Any skilled person can learn, but he will be as good as to who ever is coaching him.
I will also comment a little on Jaxson Hayes. Why haven't the Lakers worked with Hayes on a perimeter shot. Seems like all they want him to do is dunk the ball and he is very good at that, but in the NBA if you want to be a good player you got to be versatile, have more then just a couple of weapons. The guy is pretty good from the free throw line, so I can not see why they do not work with him having a three point shot from the corner. They have him wondering around in that area, but only on pick and roll. So like I said, a team is only as good as the coaches. Right now JJ has some real experienced asst coaches and they could prepare the players they have for a deep run.
I also notice that there are some writers posting articles about Laker players. But it seems like instead of giving a thumbs up for Laker players, it seems like they want to hurt the Laker team because of threats to their favorite teams. Example author Devon Platana on MSN posted a real negative article about Vincent and that he has been robbing the Lakers. The thing is that Vincent was injured when we got him from the Heat and it has taken time to recover. He had knee surgery and it takes time. He missed all of last season, but I think now he is playing fantastic as a point guard, and his shooting is great. So why does a author like Devon Platana post something like that the Lakers should get rid of him? Kind of makes a person wonder how many really hate the Lakers and would like to see them trade away players that are playing good when healthy.
