A win-win trade. Brooklyn needs D'Lo, where he previously made the All-Star team, and where Dennis Schröder just vacated his leadership role when he was traded. The Lakers got a pure 3 and D wing in Finney-Smith which raises questions about the future of Rui. The Lakers included Maxwell Lewis and second round picks and also received Shake Milton as compensation. Not sure why Cam Reddish is being marginalized. His defense is exceptional and his offense is satisfactory! Finney-Smith shoots 43.5% from the three this season! Perhaps that's why? The Lakers are 7-2 since Max Christie entered the starting line-up and he's being recognized....

I don’t know man. I guess it’s hard to see the advantage based on some basic research on DFS. Granted, I don’t know a lot about him, but just looking at his stats, what’s the upside here? I would imagine it specifically refers to his defense? Another Cam Reddish? That is an impressive 3-point percentage, I agree. I’m not typically one to believe in these things, but it does appear that individuals forget how to shoot when they throw on a Lakers jersey. It’s like a curse. I will try to remain optimistic about this, although i was hoping for a “big”.

Good read. I’m happy we did something. I just hope it wasn’t the proverbial, “make a trade for the sake of making a trade”. I feel like we gave up a lot.

I like the trade. Just wondering if we will be doing another trade?

Didn't move the needle one bit.

Good trade improving the D, plus netting a scorer/ball handler as well in Milton. Dlo has seen his minutes and production drop, so might as well ship him out while he still has decent value.
