What Kind of Statue is That for the Black Mamba?

I don't mean to be a bummer, but did they all jack up Kobes statue or what? Look at his face. And his raised arm looks way too long. The veins look weird. I wanted to see him in a dunking pose with the ball between his legs or something like that, at least a ball in his hand, or when he pulled his jersey down after the Suns game. It's Kobe man, he deserves better than that in my opinion.

I have no problem with the pose chosen but it could've been done way better artistically IMO.

I lived in Jamaica for 7 years and heard a story about the unveiling of a Bob Marley statue, years prior, near the National Stadium.

It was too abstract apparently and the audience stoned it before it was set onto its pedestal. It was hauled back up on a giant sawhorse assemblage used to lower it into place, and never was seen again.
