How DId the NBA Come Up with This Lakers Schedule?

I don't know who set up this schedule for the Lakers this year. But, after being on the road for it seems like a month, we finally get our homestand. How are the Lakers rewarded after a long road schedule?

The NBA gave us this sweet home schedule.:

The Heat, Grizzlies, Clippers, Raptors, Suns, Thunder, Nets, Trailblazers, Bulls, and the Mavericks.

All those teams, except for the Raptors and Mavericks.were in the playoffs last year. That's a pretty brutal schedule for the home team. Injuries are hurting us, but even at full strength it would be hard to beat these teams. I guess that's how a team that made it to the conference finals gets rewarded, give them the toughest schedule the following year. Pissed.

I had us winning one of the next 6, but I think we may just get swept, losing all 6. They are pathetic.

I thought they fought really hard last night. The Grizzlies made 23 3 point shots, most contested. Every team that plays us always seem to make a ton of 3 point shots, even with a hand in their face. I mean Jackson hitting 5 three point shots and Smart making 8? They could play any other team, and no matter if their wide open they wouldn't make all those shots. We get the best shooting from other teams, best of their season usually. Its crazy dude.

The Lakers record ever for three pointers made is 22. The Grizzlies made 23 last night. Every team seems to make record threes against us, covered or not. They all play their best against the Lakers because it's the Lakers.

I actually prefer getting the harder games out of the way earlier in the season. Teams (especially teams like lakers) start hitting their strides towards/after the ASG. I would want relatively manageable opponents at that point.

However the way they are performing currently. there’s no free lunches to be found.
