lol sixers/rivers always get ex lakers...

There was no game day thread, they played the GSW yesterday and won. Another good showing by Max Christie who scored 22. Solid all around performance by Castleton who ended up with 13/7/6 along with a block and couple of steals.

JHS had an average showing on offense but he was quite stellar on the defensive end of the floor with 4 steals and a block. He reminds me a lot of Marcus Smart on that end of the floor. Just needs to work on his outside shot.

Aren't we scheduled to play the Hornets today?

On another note, that Wenbaya (or whatever he’s called), looks like he would probably get pushed around by even the likes of Mighty Mouse (IT) in the paint. Lol. Too skinny for his size. I think he might need his security guards to be with him on the court as well, so they could take care of any intrusive individuals who try to get too close. LMFAO.

Lakers are leading 65-59 in the 3rd. Castleton 17/10 (7/9 shooting). This dude is legit. Hope they offer him a standard contract to fill out the last 2 open roster spots. Impressive showing by JHS who has registered 12/3/4 (4/7 shooting). Christie and Swider are ball hogging and have together combined for a scintillating 5/20 exhibition. Swider looks too flat footed…especially on defense. When his shot doesn’t fall, he doesn’t have anything else to offer.

We need to talk about D’Moi Hodge. The dude is putting on a show. Well done scouting dept.

Is Hodge more of a SG or PG?

Yeah that lower half is usually what gives tall guys like him trouble eventually. Time will tell.

I’ve read a few articles pointing towards various centers to fill the current void that we have.

1.) Christian Wood

2.) Bol Bol

3.) Bismack Biyombo

I’ve listed them in my personal preference order. The only problem with Wood, from what I’ve read, is that he would require starting minutes, which I don’t see as a problem. The authors, on the other hand, think it may cause issues. Thoughts?

Cousins.....lol.

I laughed so hard when I saw that shyt....My goodness. Hire SECURITY!!!!!!

Geee… I wonder who this “prominent player” is…. Probably wants his boy Tristan on the team. Wood plays at a high level and from what I’ve read, we were progressing on a deal that we acquire him on a minimum contract. That pisses me off a little.

I mean it can only be 2 players. I still can't believe the FO is allowing this. Shame on them.

On another note, the Lakers release Cole Swider and sign Alex Fudge to a two way contract. I like these 2 moves. Anyone else?

I was hoping they would also sign D'Moi Hodge. He can shoot that thang like Craig Hodges, Steve Kerr and John Paxson.

I believe Hodge is already on a 2 way contract with the Lakers.

I sure hope so.

Yeah I like that D’Moi Hodge guy. He seemed nba ready and has the potential to be a key rotational player.

With our luck he'll somehow end up with the Heat....lol.

I highly doubt you're out of the game. Nowhere near it.
