This player really played it dirty and used topnotch teams as a leverage for his scheme. Maybe he forgot that these teams has lots of money too to pursue an investigation and place him into the trash bin. KARMA....

If Boogie is back to what he was, I would much rather have a skilled All-Star seven footer than a over-rated (lucky shot Kawhi?) egomaniac.

Kawhi used up all his luck with that shot and I think the Clipper Curse will do him in.

I won’t ever believe a lick of what SAS, Ric Bucher, Chris Broussard, or Colin Cowherd will ever have to say regarding their “sources” until anything they say start to hold some sort of weight of truth or credibility.

KL and Uncle Dennis had a plan a they executed it. Lakers should not hold their heads down about this. They took the risk on KL and it didn't work out. That's LIFE. They recovered pretty well and now it's time to push forward.

I am more inclined to believe the hype here. That whole Kwahi business put a bad taste in my mouth and I never trusted him. I said it during the trade rumors; there is something I don't like about that guy and am I ecstatic regarding how things panned out. I do feel as if we got "played", but I have a feeling the Clippers are going to be the ones who get **** in the end. At least that is what I hope anyway.

If it turns out the Clips not only gave up all those picks and pieces to get George for KL. And if on top of that they had to, let's just go with some possible here, pay off KL's house in SD, buy him a plane (or lease it, whatever), give him a house/penthouse/whatever in LA to be close to work, guarantee triple figure endoresement $ etc., whatever it is/was, then they paid one helluva price for a chip, IF they get one.Seems to me the Clips made a deal with the devil. It sticks me as odd Jerry would do something like that. And STILL in 2 years KL and PG13 can leave in FA. Maybe that's the new NBA? Players holding teams hostage to winning chips? Flaoaters/ringers showing up for a cple years, elevating teams, getting paid a king's ransom, then moving on? There are many bad things about the KL deal that are coming out. At least some of which are surely true. It's all bad precedent time imo. And yes I as much as anyone hope the Clips choke on their bad investment and CBA tampering. If that's what it takes to win, if that's what it comes down to, let them have it. There have been many articles out now saying Magic's big mouth cost us KL. And that sucks. Magic really needs to go away from B-Ball. Should have nothing to do with negotiations or allowed to even make comments other than the most generic. Someone needs to control that guy. But, in this case, I am not unhappy how it turned out. Who wants a player on their team who will hold a guillotine over your future. And makes such outrageous demands. We don't need that kind of ego.
