Magic Johnson Has a Serious Problem with His Balls

Normally, having two balls is a good thing, but in the case of Magic and the Lakers, the second ball seems to be one too many. Everyone knew when they took Lonzo he came along with daddy ball, as though together in a nice, tight.....sac. Everyone also knew the elder Ball would cause some issues as he always does. But these issues were presumed to be those of the mouth. And most figured no matter how outrageous the things he may say were, they were just words and something that can be over come. But now the older Ball has said something that....

Think it's just another Lavar rant to stay in news. Not to worried about Zo, he's repeatedly said it's just his Dad running his mouth, like he's done his whole life.

Side note, don't know about middle brother, but Melo was an 5 star recruit, he could actually help in a couple of years depending on development. Lol

SPQR, I agree with kkennon1, it's just Lavar running his mouth and it makes me laugh. Lavar represents several things to me. First, he is like the uncle at the family reunion that tells you he invented things that EVERYBODY knows he didn't or how he was the manager of the 5th Beatle. He clowns, you laugh and then walk off because we all know he is full of it. He also reminds of me of most parents, they have a VERY high opinion of their kids and themselves. He is a helicopter parent that ESPN and other media outlets love to....

The Balls represent everything wrong with sports today. They could, like Steph Curry, represent everything GOOD about sports today, but they have chosen the Dark Side, Luke.

Lavar is actually really good at incepting an idea way in advance and then slowly but surely making it a reality, that's all he's trying to do. When it comes down to it, will he really go through with this extortion plan? I don't necessarily think so. Worst case scenario is the Lakers sign the two other brothers on minimum contracts and push them into the G-league lol.

Lavar is simply running out of stories that go viral, so he just came up with another one to get some attention again. I haven't really heard anything from him since he said Walton was as risk of losing his job, which was like a month ago.

Randy, I was quite upset yesterday when User first reported this latest Lavarism. Lol. We even flirted with the idea of looking to (using the front office analogy) recalibrate the PG position. However it later dawned on me that Magic actually grabbed Lavar for a photo shoot, with the just the two “OG’s” together as Magic alluded to. Lavar had kept his distance and was standing like a palm tree in background, during the entire official Lonzo introduction ceremony. I feel Magic knew that he would get a combo deal when he signed Lonzo. Not necessarily talking about the other young Balls..Lol but the great Lavar. He spent significant amount of time with him and his family in Chino hills CA. He apparently did this to get to know him and his family, but also as part of his due diligence exercise. That was all hogwash. 100% River Rhine Bull. Magic and the lakers think tank understand that the lakers are always the topic of national interest around the Nba, even when they are irrelevant. They have maximum jersey and fan memorabilia sales even during the lean years. They knew that Lavar was the mouthpiece who was also slowly gaining national attention for his antics and showmanship. Good/ bad publicity is subjective. He’s still getting attention and getting national coverage. Join the two forces and you ensure that lakers who already making the news’s for trivial matters, now get an infusion of high octane rocket fuel. LMAO. I'm ok with the loud mouth LaVar as long as the players, and coaches just practice, play and zone up these nonsense. Play with everything they've got and take it one game at a time. Professionals should know how to mentally prepare and zeroin on the prize. Focusing these your core is the coaches and executives job.

From what I'm reading, I guess biggest problem these TV guys are talking about is will FA's want to deal with Lavar, which I guess is a fair question. But I'd cross that bridge when I came to it.

After listening to Chris Broussard , Bob Parker and Holly Sanders, I think Magic has no choice but to trade Ball. Lavar is too much of a distraction to the organization, and if he thinks Magic is going to take the other two kids because of threats made by Lavar. He is dreaming. Magic and Perlinka will trade this kid away since he also made the statement that he does not mind playing for another team. So Lonzo is going with what his father says and really does not care whether he plays with the Lakers or not.

Think it's going to work out one way or another, if Zo doesn't continue to improve, than he's probably gone. If he looks like he's going to be special, than Lakers will have to deal with Dad. Only thing that probably shuts Dad up, at least a little, is Zo telling him to chill or else. Maybe threaten to leave BBB and sign with big shoe company. But if it's true what they said in this video, and Lavar went behind Zo's back and put mansion and his name , Zo better watch his back !!!!
