What Lakers need is a go-to scorer that can defend multiple position. Then add complimentary guys that can defend, run and shoot.
PG13
Glen Robinson III
Will Barton
Avery Bradley
KCP
Danny Green
All good to decent shooters that can defend. I think they should go after PG13 and another one of these guys.
You would have:
Ball/ Caruso
Ingram/ Hart
PG13/Other FA signee from above
Kuzma/Randle
Lopez/Zubac/ Bryant.
I know Cousins is the other favorite for most here bu with the injury I think its a huge gamble and I don't think he takes any kind of discount contract. Lopez is not the greatest center but i think he is decent enough. He could also be resigned.

We should try to get a backup PG. if we go with Lopez, it'd better be a 1 year deal. Maybe IT will re-sign for 1 year. But I'd rather see Zubac and Bryant than Lopez.

Zu and Bryant are backups at best, imo
Would rather see them offer Cousins a 1year deal if they can get him to sign one.

Yeah, but you have no idea. They're like F-ing 20 years old.
And you also acted like Randle and Clarkson both sucked, but they've been our 2 best players this season.

And you have no idea either. And I never acted like Randle or Clarkson sucked. I was defending Clarkson since day one on here. Having said that , I still don't think he's not replaceable. As far as Randle , all I've said is he's one dimensional and not worth max money to me. And all he does is drive, and can't defend rim., Facts !!! But have said I want him back at right price.
Also when I say backups, I mean depending on who we got to play 5. Because Zu or Byrant sure is hell ain't going to be Cousins or any other top center right now.

Yeah but the roster isn't exactly very good. It's like being the smartest guy in special ed (no offense intended to anyone)

I don't know. That's my point. That's why I want to see them play more. When Zubac has gotten time he's looked like more than a backup, but he doesn't get any time.
Maybe, but are they decent players, that look better than they are on bad team. And I still say he's a backup on a team with some of the better centers in league. You get Cousins, and he's a backup. You put him on a team with any of these, he's a backup:

But agree about needing more playing time.
Second, to say that if you added the best player in the world at that position makes them
backups is not Really a debatable statement. Of course it would. But can either of
them be a good solid starting center? That's what we want to see. The 2nd half of this
season would be a good time to see what we got. We have no idea about Bryant at all, but
when a 19 year old Zubac got playing time last year he looked like he would become much
better than most starting centers currently in the league.
He didn't look that way to me, especially last year. He looked slow and out of shape most of the time. But looked a lot better against Wolves the other night. Maybe your right ,with more playing time he'll look better to me, but right now , I don't see anything special and Lakers have always had the elite centers in league, and he ain't that or going to get that. Imo
