I was one that stated they should retire both jerseys on a previous thread from maybe year before last. No brainer. Congrats to the Mamba!!!!!!!....Now lets get TWO STATUES!!!!!!!!

Not going to hijack a Kobe thread regarding Ingram. Create a separate one lol but I think this is going to delay his development.
Anyways, really thought they would retire 24 when he truly was the man of the franchise. Probably going to go down as the only player to have 2 numbers retired!

Apparently Ingram has said he hasn't measured himself. A reported just said he looked taller. This is per @lakersreporterthe man bleacher report is saying reported this 😂

This would make a good statue
Retiring 8 and 24 is a bit redundant. 8+24=32 and it's already retired.
Well if they give him 2 statues, the #8 needs to be the one when he dunked on Dwight.....lol. I also like the young Kobe dunking backwards in the #8 jersey. Both legs bent all the way back with the addias kicks. Now IMO, for the #24, they need to hijack the MJ fade away.

That's pretty cool- I wonder if Kobe is the first NBA player to have multiple #'s retired like that.
