3 Starting Caliber point guards tends to self destruct. We have Clarkson and Ingram that can play interim PG if the other two are off the floor. Due to Zu's Summer League flop, I think we need a back-up center. Talk about a fall from grace. He thought he was going to be starting this year, probably took it for granted, and now he'll be lucky if he's not sent to the G-League or even waived. He said himself that he cannot jump. You'd think he'd work on that. All indicators are that he's been lazy since his injury in April.

At PG Lakers have Ball, Ennis, Clarkson (if need be), Caruso (2-way). At SG Lakers have KCP, Clarkson, Hart, Ingram (if need be). Why do they need Clark, where is he gonna get minutes?
On another note, Ennis was the final signing I was waiting on in order to give Lakers an A on offseason moves. Absolutely brilliant work - did everything right. Can make 1 more good move by trading Randle for mid-to-late 1st rounder, otherwise he walks for nothing next summer. I'd also consider offering Zubac + Randle to someone to take Deng's contract, and sign Bryant to a regular rookie multi-year deal, instead of 2-way he's about to get.

I forgot we have Hart. I don't see Clarkson staying on for too long, along with Randle and Zubac.

Just split the $4.3Mil with all the vested Newssurgers and call it a day.

I don't know, could see Zu sticking around. He's probably more valuable to Lakers than he is any other team right now.
Don't think they're going to part with Zu just yet. If he can develop that toughness like a Marc Gasol, then he will stick around. That's probably the guy they should model his game around but he has to get TOUGH!!!!.
Nice signing- low risk high reward. He looked good last season, so if he does well again, an excellent deal to lock him up for that second year.
