Anyone Else Super Annoyed By the FB and Tweet Feed Here?

What's the point? A bunch of various pple write "on our way to China", "can't wait for the game to start tonight"...what is the poinnnnt? Are we supposed to feel close to these pple by it? Like we're all pals? That's insane! Just more visual clutter in our already overly cluttered lives. More voyeurism. And it's not like it's even interesting. There's no there there.

Anyways, that's my rant. Anyone agree? Much preferred the page without all that useless stuff. IMO. But I'd like to hear what the rest of you think of it, and to anyone who likes it...why?? What do you learn? What do you get out of it?

I personally feel that Twitter is utterly useless. It's elevator and crap chat and when done, is hardly different that flushing the toilet. Makes people feel real close to famous people when they get a say hello just before the flush. Facebook has many redeeming qualities despite being a Cee Eye Aye surveillance technology but what is missing from all social media is an accessible archival based system. I was not aware LTB was on Facebook so that says something right there. What would you say there that you would not say here? The truth is....

Nah not at all. I just ignore it because it's not apart of my interests. I don't have a Facebook or Twitter account. I'm fine with it because I know that it interests other people on the site. But I do understand your gripes, I am not a huge fan of social media at all. Then again, I am a bit of a hermit and introvert too, so it makes a lot of sense.
