New Lakers Blogging Format for LTB Front Page

Hi guys- as you may have noticed, I've added a new format for Laker blog entries being shown on the front page. There is brand new way to have blogs show up on the front page. Previously Randy (SPQR), Jamfan, L4K, lakeshowsd, and other LTB bloggers would have to use a special admin interface to post their front page blogs. The new method involves simply placing your new blog in the Lakers Blog forum. There are a few requirements and guidelines, however, to post a new blog (i.e. post a new topic in the blog forum). I have always like to write a blog but havent had a time lately.... if I'm available i will post immediately. anyhow Dave, what happened to the banner contest do we have a winner yet? I'm excited to see.

Thanks for the heads up as always. I need to ask, will we need to use that link you have posted on this thread only or is there another way to access the Lakersblog to post?

I ask this Dave, is because I went to the link you have on this thread and could see how to post a blog, but if I go to the blogs any other way, there is no way (at least that I can see, lol) to post a blog.

Randy- it's like posting a new topic in one of the forums. You can click on the "New Topic" button under any forum, and then simply select the Laker Blogs forum. See the screen shot below:

BTW a special thanks to TheTwinTowers for the graphic I'm using as the default avatar! If you have a front-page blog, LTB will display that default avatar if you do not have one.
