Reminder about Site Rules/Guidelines and Report Post Feature

Hi everyone- due to the recent strife between some members on the site, I would like to remind everyone to read (or re-read) the site rules and guidelines if you haven't already. The core philosophy behind this site that I want to instill is friendliness between fellow members. I want to make it clear that above everything else, my goal is to provide a forum and an atmosphere where everyone can talk about the Lakers and not have to worry about being belittled/insulted/personally attacked. If you don't like what someone is saying, and he/she is not breaking the site rules, please feel free to put the person on your ignore list.

I would also remind everyone about the "Alert Moderators" feature. Because of my current schedule I am unable to keep up with a lot of the posts on the site. This is where I ask for your help. If anyone sees a fellow member out of line please use the feature to alert myself and moderators of the site. We want to stop any problems right away and will investigate and take appropriate action.

thanks for the information but I have two questions because I accidentally one time push the ignore button and since then I can't remove it is there a way I can fix my error?. and the second question is how do people get votes because I don't have non? thanks again for the information and I hope everyone stay positive and peaceful because that's one of the main things I like about this form.

Sure thing makeman- click on "Lakers Forum" on the top left menu, then find the link that says "Manage Your Ignore List" which is at the center towards the top. It is to the left of the link that says "profile". As far as getting votes- keep posting and I'm sure someone will bound to give you one!

It's all good on my end. I'm not gonna hold any grudges and I'm not going to respond to LTB members who like to continuously insult me, issue profanity laced personal attacks against me, drop inappropriate and insulting comments on my reputation voting page, and otherwise try to provoke an angry response from me. For me, life is good; work is good. I've got my beautiful little 3-year-old daughter over my place right now, and she's taking a nap after a fun day of playing at the park. I'm a fan of the best team in basketball: the two time defending champion Los Angeles Lakers. I have the respect of my peers on this site and in my personal life, and I see no reason to be petty about these things. Ultimately, I'm above it. Anyone who's been on this site for a while knows who the good guys are.

That´s what´s up. People know who the good guys are, if we keep up the way this forum has been running for the last years, there will be nothing that can ever really bring this to an end. Not the trolls, not the people who insult others for no reason, nothing like that.

I think this is also perfect timing to thank all the moderators for their amazing work again. Without Dave and all the mods this site wouldn´t be what it is. I am very thankful and glad to have found this site because since that I´ve never searched for any other Laker forum, just because the atmosphere couldn´t be better anywhere else.

I love the site....being relatively new and having had disagreements with some members (just opinions) I think things are handled very well and almost everybody is respectful....also quick to apologize if out of line....the mods do a great job and like Mamba247 said the atmosphere is great...fully addicted to the site and glad I found it
