Raiders.topbuzz is officially open for business

Thanks to Dave, we now have Raiders.topbuzz. Take a gander. Don't be afraid to make your presence felt over there guys.

http://raiders.newssurge.com/

Dave was very nice to do that.

Now all the hoveled, shrieking, crying masses of Raider fans can band together and dream about superbowls that will never come their way with big Al Davis at the helm.

Wouldn't it be easier, quicker and more enjoyable for Raider fans to just bust a cap in their heads? Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_04

Are you SURE it's ok for all of us to come out and play? lol

Lol, You can come too Moon, just stay in the NFL Talk section.

SPQR, didn't the Raiders beat the Steelers last year? wink

Randal

That is not nice. Need I remind you, that the Raidera have won the last two against your team. 2006 we beat you guys with the awful bed and breakfast offense, and last season, I remember gradkowski, and Louis Murphy tearing up Heinz field. you have just been owned. I take no prisoners... LOL, you know where that came from.....

Mojo,

Lol, yes you sure did beat our team without Troy Palamalu and Aaron Smith. Of course we will play again this year and I am sure it will be....interesting.

Anyway, there is also the fact that we have 2 superbowls in the last five years and will be winning our seventh this year. As you can see I am taking a very strident stance in my football talk on LTB. That is purely intentional on my part, lol.

And a quick question, were any of you guys actually alive when the Raiders won their last one?? Rock ya

John,

I never pretended I am alway nice! And yes, the loss to Oakland was humilating. I hope they remember it as well as I do for the rematch this year. They better.

Randy

Do you remember the 06 game. I think the Raiders had 46 yards of total offense that game. Total offense. A few Big Ben picks.

Wow Randy, playing the superbowl card huh. yes I was alive in 1984 Superbowl 18. LOL, it's been a while huh? Don't forget, your Steelers went through some tough times. Nothing like kicking a dog that's already down huh Randal? LOL

That loss last year knocked you guys right out of playoff contention too.

John,

I am glad you have such a stellar memory there! Yes in that 06 game Ben looked not only like rookie, but a drunk one at that. Who knows, maybe he had spent the morning, drunk, in a dirty, small, bar bathroom with a college girl. It is possible you know.

And yes, John, had we beat the Raiders last year, we would have made the playoffs. But where would we have gone? Nowhere. I am not sorry we got put out of misery fast and easy.

18? Hmmm....You were 18, huh? Does that seem like a lifetime ago to you, John? Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_39

The last Raiders Super Bowl was 3 years before I was born. Embarassed

Randy

I wasn't 18. At the time of Superbowl 18, I was 5 years old, but I honestly do remember Marcus Allen running wild on the Redskins.

Oh um....5...

If you guys ever win a superbowl in your lifetimes, it sure will feel sweet and very strange as well....

No John, actually you don't remember a thing from that game. You were practically an embryo. You just THINK you do. What really happened is you saw the replay of that run years later and it seems like you saw it.....hehe....

No Randy. I remember man. Blocked punt early for a TD. A Jack Squirek (sp) INT for a TD. I remember watching the game, honestly. I have memories as far back as 2 years old. It's the recent stuff I can't remember, thanks to the happy smoke.

Randy

I was a sports freak as a kid. I vividly remember the 86 final's Celtics and rockets. shhhhhhhh. The 85 WS Cards and Royals, the 84 Superbowl. Amongst some of my early sports memories.

Ut Oh! Mojo busted out that a$$ again.

John,

I am afraid you are not understanding me. I just TOLD you, you dont remember the game! You just remember highlights! I am not asking you if you saw it, not debating the issue. I am settling it!

I mean for christ sakes, who do you believe, me or you?

Randal

Don't piss me off! Of course I believe.... well you, LOL. You're right I just remember the highlights.

No, seriously Randy, i remember. I remember the house next door to me being on fire, I was 2 years old man. It is weird. My father also bugs out that I remember that, but strangely enough, I do. I remember a lot of sh!t about childhood. Preschool, Kindergarten, all kinds of sh1t man. Like I said, it's the most recent things I have problems with.

John,

I don't remember all that much from that far back.

A question though, why did you set your neighbors house on fire?

Randy

LOL, I don't think I was capable of being an arsonist at that age, although once I turned 4 or 5 I had in affinity for pulling all the fire alarms in the projects I lived in.

I vividly remember my mother holding me while my father was trying to play hero, I guess. We had to move out shortly thereafter because the fire spread to our adjacent apartment building.

I remember the fire ladder being extended to the 3rd floor of that apartment. Like i said, my father is amazed that I have memories of this. He has asked me several times to explain what I saw.

Another thing I remember was walking up the street when I lived there, and picking up a strawberry shortcake iced cream bar wrapper and licking a bunch of ants of it. I guess I thought they were jimmies. LOL. I remember that as well, and remember how p!ssed off my mother got because I had done that. To this day, she laughs at me because of that. I just tell her if she'd paid better attention to me it wouldn't have happened, but she was holding my hand as we were walking up the hill.

Yes! It Ms. Munn has returned, never to go away again!

Also, I don't find it that odd that you remember from that far back. I remember when I was a baby and first started out walking and I was teething on all of the furniture and the specific tastes of the wood and stuff. lol I also remember somehow crawling into the patio when I was about 1yrs old and tasting the Kibbles n Bits with the skinny orange ones being my favorites.

I love Ms. Munn's buns.

I must be dumb. Just googled, and I can find no link. Any help?

LFM, don't be eying my future ex wife now...

Pretty good smack talking by a guy whose team has the same 7 season playoff drought.

^^^

Be that as it may, at least we got 5 chips, one of which came at a time when I was not in diapers and was able to remember and celebrate lol Razz

And if that's still not good enough for ya, at least the crappy 9ers have been able to snag more than 5 wins in a season in that 7 year drought (4 of 7 seasons)...

Wussup foo? lol

Guys, guys, come on now. Its all meaningless if you really think about it. Its a Steelers world and you and your teams are just lucky enough to be living and playing in it. Super

So I was 6 when we won our last, you were 9 big difference..

Moon

It doesn't matter how many wins you get, if you don't make the playoffs, or don't win a Superbowl you're in the same boat as all the other teams, from the colts on down. Staring up at the Champion Saints.

Just wallow in the glory that is the Steelers. That really should be more than enough to make any NFL fan happy!!!! licklips

Actually, I had JUST turned 11 the day before the Super Bowl, so I had GREAT weekend Wink I guess it makes a small difference, wouldn't you say? lol

By the way, the "wussup foo" is just how I talk, so please don't take offense. I wish there was a way for me to display my Mexican accent on a forum ha ha

Anyway, I'm just teasing cuz I can't help it, and I'd rather do that here than to go to Raiders.Topbuzz and mess up the experience over there. I'll let you guys have that one, AT LEAST lol

I guess we should be trying to bring SPQR down, but it's kinda hard when he roots for the Lakers of Football Razz

WHY NFL QUARTERBACKS NEED SHORT NAMES

^ Oh God! MY EYES! Vomit Vomit Vomit Vomit Vomit Vomit Vomit

lol why did I have to come back in here? Shocked
