What about this trade?

Add a 2019 1st round pick. and 2 future 2nd round picks.

Think Memphis takes it? Lakers need a consitent PG and Conley is quietly as good as any of the other flashier PGs in the league.

The only question is how this trade would affect cap space?

Don't see Lakers doing it.

Mike Conley signed a 5 year / $152,605,576 contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, including $140,529,829 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $30,521,115. In 2018-19, Conley will earn a base salary of $30,521,115, while carrying a cap hit of $30,521,115 and a dead cap value ... Contract: 5 yr(s) / $152,605,576 Average Salary: $30,521,115 Signed Using: Bird Free Agent: 2021 / UFA

Should be bad for Magic, but Luke will be scapegoat.

Yeah. Luke is going to catch no matter what on this. Magic is sadly continuing the long line of former Lakers not doing so well in their second ( or for him 3rd) time around with the team. I just wish the culture with the team was different, but it's LA.

WTF?? How do we even get out of this mess? Magic got played/schooled so bad.

Played like a thirsty groupie on a reality tv show. And I have heard this several times about the Pel playing the Lakers and Magic and Pelinka just going along and waiting for something that wasn't going to happen. That's why it is going to be hard for players to want to come here.

The Knicks worry me very little. Not only are they in the East, they've proven that they will screw up anything at any cost, intentional or not. The one good decision they've made in the past decade (with firing the likes of Isiah Thomas and PJax not counting)? He's now playing for Dallas. If Anthony Davis goes to New York, hey, let him be.

All I wanted was a James trade... instead we trade Zubac.
