Hi guys- from the feedback I've received lately I've decided to implement a maximum number of new topics per day limit per user. The default limit is 5, but goes up by one for every 2 net positive reputation votes you have. So let's say you have 6 net positive votes then you'll be able to post a maximum of 8 new topics a day. I think it's a fair number. I definitely appreciate those of you who bring a wealth of news to the site, but this will allow you to be little more selective in what interesting Lakers/NBA news YOU choose to share with everyone. Thanks all and I welcome any feedback!

Sounds fair. Obviously you have been getting a pretty good amount of feedback on this issue. You just as obviously responded to your memebers desires...like you always do.
Ok... I get what you're explaining Dave. I think its a great idea because now, posters will lean towards posting just the articles worthy of attention and discussion, and not the yawners.
No disrespect of course, since they take their time and effort to post and share articles with us. Again, good move Dave

Relive, I had to laugh as I remember you used to post like a beast on the forum here. I appreciate the articles, but I do see alot of the same articles with different titles or add-ons which does get kinda annoying.
On another note, SPQR will have the ability to post a whopping 178 topics per day. Can anyone say "Carpel Tunnell"???

By the way, Dave, can I auction off some of my entitled posts?
^^Ha, I am the math idiot!!! I just re read the OP and by my calculations you should be able to
post 49.5 topics per day.
