Thanks for the rules, very simple and to the point. Most are common sense, but I can see how people with less experience on forums and internet can get confused.

a couple members just got banned....i think its good for people to just take a look at the rules on the first page every once in a while. Anyways, being a Mod is actually cooler than i thought.

Who got banned? I haven't really been active lately.

Cobbler and Urkle. They were arguing like krazy on and off.

Cobbler got banned. And Urkle. Urkle has kept on trying to come back under a new SN, but I guess they know it is the same guy.

Those guys were alwas arguing with eachother. I guess it was an inevitability they would both get banned for it.

I totally saw that coming. They turned LTB into Jerry Springer for a while.

I read that stuff, I tried to play their drama off with a friendly "calm down"

Why are you spamming the forums? Your name is on every last post on the whole front page. Are you just trying to get your post count up? Its quite annoying seeing you revive topics from years ago with nothing to say but one liners like, "I must follow the rules". I would advise you knock it off.

Half the topics you reply on you have no idea who it is or what's going on. You need to start researching your information. I honestly hate when people post impossible things. Such as; lets buyout Luke to get j.rsmith.please learn a bit more about NBA finances and trade possibilities before replying.

Hi guys- please note the new site rule I just added:

new! Extreme trolling by a Laker fan is no longer allowed. "Extreme" is quantified as such: over 80% of your posts within the last 14 days, even if you are a Laker fan, denigrate the team and or player(s). Despite being a Laker fan, if the majority of all you do on the site is criticize using hyperbole without statistics to backup claims, and rarely offer posts that support the team, then you are in violation of this rule.

^^Not at all. Any Laker fan can criticize the team/players as much as he wants to, just don't make it his the only agenda here to bash the team/player(s). If 80% of one's posts are like "Lakes suck" low quality type posts, and rarely offering any posts that support the team, then that would be excessive trolling. In fact, I don't see anyone on the forum thus far violating this new rule- thus far.

I like your idea about day-based threads. Feel free to to start them up and I look forward to reading everyone's thoughts.

I can actually admit that 80% of my posts talk about how crappy the FO is, how Kobe shoots terrible shots and freezes out teammates and how we need to keep our pick. However I think I'll just take a hiatus from the site and let everyone cheer about the FO, Kobe's shooting and how the Lakers should sign more useless lottery busts to make a playoff push.
