and the Lakers aren't the same team as last year. In 2008, we played them in the first
round. The entire team had fresh legs, Kobe had fresh legs, Vujacic, Vlad, and the
Lakers were playing great ball. This year, Kobe has had to play an entire season
after a super long finals run last year, olympics, and two other playoff series, one
of which went 7 games with Artest and Battier hounding him. Not only that, we are
playing every other night. The Lakers just came off a 7 game series. We have to jump on
these guys at the can and just steam roll them in Game 3.

I still think they can win this series because it's taking superhuman basketball
from Kobe, however, the Nuggets are going to have to shoot better. There is no excuse
for them to score 97 points against the Lakers. If they hit even 4 of the wide open 3's
they missed, they would have 109 points. JR was frickin 2-10 out there. I mean that's
awful (and Chauncey was pretty bad himself).

And actually, the Lakers weren't exactly hot from 3, but somewhere in there there are 7
points the Lakers got back in transition and/or from the free throw
line.
Think about it, yet another disheartening 3, desperation defense when the Lakers are on
the attack yet again, the Lakers end up converting....over and over
again.
Try about half as many three point shots, go for 10 more assists, and this game is won.
Maybe the ft disparity wouldn't have made it that close either.

Melo played a great first half and then started to play dumb and falled in love witht he 3,
that's not your not shot man, drive it in. Billups had come up so small in this serie,
he needs to stop with that pullup dagger three in transition.
Im starting to doubt whether jr is even going to have one decent shooting game in this
series, he's atrocious from behind the arc like melo and chauncey and yet they still
launch it all game.
2 bad inbound pass= two loss, after a tough loss in game 1 nugs bounced back to take game
2, can they do it again?, i think yes.
My bet is were going to win game 4 and Series going to be tied 2-2 heading back to la.
