I think with the moves the lakers are doing they looking for players to be developed especially when we traded all of our draft picks. With hiring of Phil Handy, he developed Pascal Siakam btw. So we will continue to get these players to be developed.

Does anybody know has Kenneth Faried been signed by anybody yet? because if we end up not being able to sign Iggy than i would like to see either Melo or Faried for that last spot. I think Faried is a better option because he could fill in as backup center if necessary for small ball lineups with his athleticism

Well we didn't trade as many picks as the Clips did lol

I thought we filled the last spot? No? If not I'm ok with it. He can't score much now but he's a rebounding machine. So have to choose D/rebounds with Manimal, or scoring no D with Melo.

No we just filled our last two way player spot with giannis little brother kostas. But we still have one main roster spot open. They are holding out hope that Memphis will buy out Iggy and we can get him. If not then they will either hold it open for trade deadline but outs or fill it with somebody now.

That was really unbelievable. The fact that AD wanted out of his contract has ruined the league? Why that specific instance? Not Paul George? Did he not also demand a trade, Mr Kerr? What about all the other dozens of players who've demanded trades over the years? Just the AD deal? Really Kerr? Really? What a d1ck. I just lost all kinds of respect for that guy right there. Feeling bad coz you lost KD, and overplayed your stars, and therefore lost your chance to win another chip next year Steve?....

Why all the anti Laker venom? Smh! The ratings will be much higher for the league overall if the Lakers are a top teams next season. But they all b1tch about it anyways? What a bunch of babies. I mean really. No one does that to Boston, who have more banners than we have. Why not? It's always the Lakers getting dumped on. Amazing.

Btw Lakers are now top pick to win it all next season.

That doushe has had a "super team" for the last 4 years. His team is still a playoff team. Go **** yourself Steve Kerr. This league would prefer the Lakers to be a perpetual lottery team. They love it and it makes me sick. Please prove that you are you than that Lakers! Let's do this!

Oh, advertising a competing site on this one? Probably not going to go over well I'm guessing.

Why? Might as well keep him.

Wall looked pretty decent in the few games I saw. I wonder why they're letting him go? He was cheap, right?

Lakers won't get him. In fact I read an article by Woj the other day that said the criteria Lakers FO uses to decide who they bring in, is #1 they favor former Lakers, big surprise, but now it's confirmed, Anyone who had anything to do with Lakers in the past, or anyone from Klutch Sports. So looking forward to trade rumors, we may as well rule anyone out who doesn't have an LA/Lakers connection, or isn't a client of Klutch.

Aside from the Lakers. They have undoubtedly gotten worse over the last 3 years. Champions to play in team. Play in team to nearly making play in. Now, lottery team with no picks. On top of that, other teams don’t want to deal with us because we are a threat? It’s going to be awhile folks.

Don't worry all! Good things are coming.... SMFH

LOL...I'm sure lots of washed up players would like to 'come help us', for a paycheck. Lamar Odom would be useful right about now. What about bringing him back? Wink

Lol. I saw that yesterday. I didn't really bother because I figured someone is trolling....LMAO.

Like I said, there's nothing we can do this year that's going to be a difference maker.

They are gonna ride it out with the same squad, but it will be entertaining for sure how they tease us. Lol.

The way things are now, it doesn't get better for at least couple of years!

Absolutely. I'm wondering if Jeanie and Rob knew the Nets weren't going to accept the deal all along and just did it to appease Lebron. Just wondering. I could be reading too much into it.

Fellas the problem is if Westy is gone at the offseason, we lose Cap value. We need to keep the number high. There's like 8 smarter teams than us as it is who made deals to keep their cap value (not sure the right term) as high as they could. If we lose it, we're toast. Sp like it or not, Westy has to go for like value. Whether they're keepers or not

This is not FA time btw. There's no FA's available right now lol. Wrong thread for the time of year Wink

He is 30? I made an assumption based off how many years he has played in the NBA. Still a bad deal.

Better than the Terry Rosier garbage which was being considered. That’s a friggin bad deal. I personally hope they don’t do any deals this year just to appease restless fans.

They only good deal is LaVine, but the Bulls made it clear that he isn’t going anywhere. They probably have a “don’t deal with the Lakers” rule as well. I am losing interest in this league with the bias toward the Lakers. It’s actually starting to hurt the team now. Look where we are at:

1.) No drafts picks until what, 2027?

2.) No other franchise makes deals with us because they are afraid?

3.) If we keep Westbrook on our team and he walks this summer, we lose cap space?

4.) High market players don’t want to play here anymore.

This is crazy. This current management should write a book on how not to run a professional sports franchise.

Looney's career stats are 5-6-2.

He's a poor man's Draymond...

And he played on three championship teams...

Which might prove to be his greatest contribution.

Losing Jax and Ayton for Looney seems, well, looney!

He's at $3.9M so that decision has to be part of a forward acquisition strategy.
