Laker-Celtics Final......

As my good friend Chick would say.....and the Lakers are the world Champions!!!!

With Gasol and Bynum.....

Lakers in 6..against the Celtics...what do u guys think????

we should hold off predictions til we actually see the whole team play together.. the season is only half way done.. and fate just loves throwing injury bugs at the lakers. but i agree its a very big possibility.

I hate to say this but I don't even wanna get close to championship talks.. I just hope we make the playoffs and go deep from there.

I agree that we should wait and see how the team is going to mesh together as a unit. That is why I would like to see Bynum come back as soon as possible so that he can blend into the team again and get his confidence back. Because if he comes right before the playoffs start, then it is going to throw the whole chemistry off again. Every time you make roster changes, it tends to throw the team off.

I was reading some Celtic comments and they are very confident on how the Celtics can beat the Lakers. They consider the Laker weakness to be Lamar Odom trying to guard Paul Pierce, also they consider Gasol soft to guard Garnett.

The west is not going to be easy to win. Other teams have made some moves such as the Korver pick up by the Jazz. The Jazz have been winning consistantly since they got Korver. And don't under estimate the Spurs. They might be old, but they still have some very good players in Ginobili, Parker and Duncan. I like what I see in the Lakers, but maybe we should not get ahead of ourselves.

I would love to see this in the Final Lakers 4 Celtics 2 ! but lets take it game by game... first of all lets win the west and then talk about Championship...

My uncle fan the Celtics and if we win them its gonna big gift for me i wont stop to laugh at him Smile

The Celtics have a good team, but I don't think they are the best team in the east. I still think that the Pistons are the best team in the east. They are a complete team, while the Celtics have three big stars, but you need a deep bench to win it all.

The west is going to be interesting because their are going to be at least four teams that are contenders. It could go to any of them.

Getting Bynum and Trevor back in playing shape and in the game is a big factor for the playoffs. One thing the Lakers have against them is playoff experience; going up against veteran teams like the Spurs or the Pistons is going to be a real test. The Lakers have great pieces, but they have not been playing together long and they may weight against them this year. But what we all know is this is a great team in the making, we are finally into contender status.

Lakers Celtics hmm if not this year I can see it for sure next year, lets just hope our player that are banged up can remain healthy

i'm so glad to be alive right now. because in at least 5 years, we're going to overtake the boston celtics' grasp of the NBA's most coveted title:

that title being the team with the most championships.

lakers - 14, to the celtics - 16.

i guess i'm getting ahead of myself, but it's hard not to be excited about this team.

I agree, I think this year it will be us and the pistons!

Yep I agree...don't think the Celts will beat the Pistons.

I feel the same way. The celts are a strong team but their lack of depth will hurt them in the playoffs. Detroit in the meantime look as good as they have for a long time. Although a lakers - celts final would be sweet, I think lakers - pistons is the more likely scenario.

Who knows it looks like Cassel is going to Boston remember he can give you 30 on any giving night the alien can still ball lol.

The Celts are trying to build up depth as best they can, an attempt to mirror the Lakers 2nd squad powerhouse running in the draft behind the Laker starting 5 - they know the constant 1-2 punch the Lakers have works, but their only approach to counter it is to buy experience where they can get it.
