Please post your predictions for the game today versus the Brooklyn Nets. What must the Lakers do earn a win? Which opposing player(s) should Purple and Gold be wary of? Will the game be up-and-down type or low-scoring? How many points will Lebron James & Anthony Davis score?

I am actually up watching the game from China. Lakers still need a three point gunner and a true point guard. Look not like champions so far.

When our BIG TWO are out, we truly look like a third rate team. Caruso is horrible. HORRIBLE. Send him to the Z-LEAGUE.

Pope cannot hit a three if his life depended on it, but he continues to shoot like he is Steph Curry. Most of the rest look like bums.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE: LeBron looks great, as good as he ever was. AD injured his thumb, taped it up, and was good to go. He is an awesome player. Danny Greem is off, but he will eventually start to bury his long ball.

Cacok looks good, a pleasant surprise as is Antyuompo or however he spells his name. Avery Bradley good too. Basically get rid of Pink Panther get a shooter and....

Kuzma is the key. Let him shoot all day long. If he can get hot, game over. Even if he shoots 35% on his threes, that is better than the rest of these blind shooters.

Until Kuz is back, my sense is that, as far as titles go, the jury is out.

Kcpoop is staying true to his crap monicker. Rondo is beyond washed. Guys going one on one and no back door cuts or pick n roll action. The coach looks clueless with his offensive sets. The offense looks worse than what we saw with Luke. It’s early days but I’m not liking what I’m seeing. The famous D for which he’s known for was absent as well, considering the 3’s which were being drained with monotonous regularity. Thanks for low balling Ty Lue.

BTW....Caruso is not pink Panther, he’s more like this fella below......

Let me guess, AD out for 3 weeks because of thumb. These preseason games that these teams like the Nets think is game 7 of the finals really get on my nerves. Why are we playing these guys like it's the regular season? I remember back in the day, they didn't play any starters. Why risk it?

Caruso was 1/13 from the field. He cost us the last game as well. I remember they just made a hulk animation for Caruso on Instagram. That is wrong on so many levels. They shouldn’t insult such an immortal character like The Hulk. They should use Elmer Fudd for Caruso or perhaps even Yosemite Sam.

On another note Greek Freak’s brother Kostas played quite well for the limited time he had. But like the mysterious disease which plagues all laker coaches, he got penalized for performing well. Lol.

Rob -- buy the guy a toupee and ship him back to China. A win/win for both the USA and China!

ROTFL!!!!!.....I sure hope the way he impressed at the end of last season wasn't a fluke.

I did not see the Nets vs Lakers game, but it is a pre-season game and it is very different then when the season actually starts. Caruso last season was playing pretty good, not sure what happened on the last two games. Then again they were playing in China and a lot of the players were not really that comfortable playing down there since the fans down there were not too happy with the twitters from this country about their internal problems.

I am also concerned with Kuzma and his injury. It has been a while since he sprained or what ever his ankle. I hope he is not like Ball who used to milk the system and collect his pay while watching from home. These young guys are sure no Kobe that is for sure. Kobe would play with broken fingers and other injuries. You do not see that much anymore with these young generation. Some of these late millennials are very lazy workers. Might be the same for players or athletes.

Kuz was close to fracture, doubt Kobe would have played with possibly fracturing ankle, to start season.
