I keep hearing talk of this thing without any real details. Maybe there are none to release yet. Imo it's a dumb idea. Super dumb. Wondering how everyone else feels about it? FWIW, if they change the current format, other than getting rid of back to backs, which I'm in favor of, I'll just stop watching the NBA. Between that and the manipulation that goes on now, it will simply be too much for this old dog. There are about 14 back to backs per year. If they get rid of them, they will play 68 games instead of 82. I'd....

I say give the stars rest and let players that don't get any real playing time do the tournament......Probably won't be that interesting if they take my advice....lol.

Good point. How could they do a new tourney until the next CBA comes up? I mean how would the players/coaches/teams get paid etc? How could they alter schedules with arenas? How would tv broadcasts/deals be affected? That all takes some serious co-ordination.
