The ongoing saga. As new items come out we just look worse and worse. In November, NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Maverick Carter, LeBron's longtime business partner, met for lunch. James' agent, Rich Paul, was seated at a nearby table, and at one point, approached Silver to complain about Walton, multiple sources familiar with the interaction told ESPN. Paul said he didn't believe Walton was the right coach for the Lakers. Silver shrugged off the remark and asked whom Paul thought would be the right coach. Paul suggested Tyronn Lue. Paul was also letting it be known through back-channel conversations, including those....

I cannot imagine reading from a certain forum saying that Lakers is getting dysfunctional everyday that it will hard for them to attract free agents. Wow, what a FAKE NEWS! how can it get dysfunctional when the team is just getting started planning moves for the next season and all of these planning sessions are done internally with outmost confidentiality and with topmost executives only in attendance. The teams plans and programs has not even shown to the public for implemention and yet its already being unjustly criticize. The millions of Magic is doing wonders just to destroy the Lakers for him and his group to take over at a bargain price MAFIOSI STYLE.

No comprende. But check this:

The Lakers Are Destined To Make A Chris Paul Mistake

https://www.forbes.com/sites/gabezaldiv ... 278e327a31

Looks like anything could happen in Houston this summer. Cappella is on the block, again. Paul and his massive contract, on the block.

D'Antoni, not signing an extension. Let's hope we don't in fact help them out of the financial jam they're in. Ughhh.

That would suck if the Lakers got nervous because they couldn't sign anyone and tried to acquire Chris Paul this summer. Massive mistake, indeed.

Tell me about it. That ship has sailed and sunk many moons ago.

For those hoping to get Julius Randle back, rumor going around Phx. Today is he or reps have told Suns he'd be interested in coming here.

He would be good for them, give them some toughness and rebounding and if Phoenix improves just one tiny bit Laker fans will lament about what was and what it could have been.

I really hope Randle finds a home and plays out of his mind wherever he goes!!!

Saw a suggestion of James for Harden. Id be down with that.

Ball, Harden, Ingram, Kuzma, we’d still need a center.

Doubt Houston would do that though.

Somehow I think D-Lo is going to be the PG they sign if the Nets don't match.

That would be the dumbest thing the Lakers could do. He is one of the highest paid players in the NBA and still has like three years left in his contract at close to 40 million per year. Plus he is 34 years old, and has had hammy problems for years. The Lakers should run away from the Rockets, not walk away, but run away from getting stuck with another old players contract. Getting stuck with that kind of contract would set the Lakers back several years. Remember Deng, and Mozgov???

Screw the Rockets. They never would try to help the Lakers, same with the Spurs and POP.

Butler and Leonard supposedly bought property in Philly and Toronto respectively. It's looking grim folks.

LBJ leaves, that is a well coordinated plan with his soon to be business partner Magic in wrecking the team and making it appear dysfunctional then buy it at a bargain price.

Good riddance for this aging superstar. I'm sure Jeanny has already gave instruction to Pelinka to get the maximum players value in the trade instead of appeasing LBJ to stay. I have posted before the triumverate which caused disaster for the Lakers, Magic, Walton and LBJ. Two are already out and one is about to leave and just creating a scenario for good exit. The team should now focus on the upcoming draft and free agency without the goal of putting players around LBJ but instead build a championship team on the very talented young core that survived the wrecking crew of Magic.

Brooklyn traded Allen Crabbe. Cleared 18 million. Irving maybe headed there? He is from Jersey and this might work for him, curious how him and Russell will work. If Irving goes that is going to effect A LOT of moves down the line.

If Kawhi was in love watching the Lakers play, then Perlinka should go all out to try and lure him to the Lakers. He will be a free agent after the season is over.

I do not think any team can talk to him yet. But Kawhi is from southern California and if he has always liked the Lakers Perlinka needs to get the lead off and start figuring how to get this player.

Can you just imagine Kawhi , LeBron, Ingram, Kuz, Hart in the same team? That would be a championship team for sure.

Hope Toronto does not win because that might encourage Kawhi to resign with the Raptors, but if they lose he definitely will leave.

I actually think if they win ,it will be easier for him to leave, can say he helped bring 1st Championship to Toronto, and did what he came to do, fans can't get mad, much like Cavs fans didn't get mad at Lebron for going to LA.

AD would presumably replace Ingram/Ball/4th pick and fillers. KD takes less than the max and it's possible. Supposedly Jack is good friends with Durant but I take it all with a pinch of salt.

No they won't if they sign KD 1st, and trade everyone and renounce rights to everyone and get AD after. And no ,I don't want that to happen.

Don't know about KD ( don't really want him) ,but looks like core might be going bye bye...smh

Maybe it's just me but I just don't want to loose Ball. I know many are not high on him but I just think there's something special about him.....But at the end of the day it is what it is.

I do not want to lose any of the young core. I think the Lakers have to be patient and let them grow into being really good nba players. But if it come to letting a couple to go it would have to be Ball and Hart. But I know the Pelicans are going to want all of the young core because that is what Magic had offered.

And now it would be a big gamble going after KD. His injury got aggravated again tonight in Toronto. Like I posted before, we do not want to get stuck with another Nash type contract. The man healthy can play and is probably the best of the three which is Kawhi, AD and KD. But those injuries scare me and get flash backs of what Nash done to the Lakers.

KD injured with an Achilles injury. Huge risk for any team offering a max contract.

Kawhi just became #1 FA, if he wasn't already, with KD injury. Axle AD hasn't had any injuries he couldn't have played through if Pels had been a playoff team, last few years. Also you say injuries scare you, than Zo,BI ,Hart,Kuz should scare you ,all they've been is injured and missed games.

If it's a serious injury, yes absolutely. If he can't come back to 100% the way he was, he won't be able to carry a team.

Yes injuries scare me, but what you mentioned, those guys are paid peanuts comparing to what a Durant, Kawhi etc etc. are paid. You are comparing apples and oranges.

Kawhi has been playing great,no problem there. So by your reasoning, we should let BI walk if he has another injury season next year? because he's up for max year after
