This is not the problem. Say we luck into Zion and, because he is short at 6'7" and does not come out of the gate posting big numbers, the Lakers will trade him for someone like Tobias Harris. Then we have to sit and watch as another draft pick becmes an All-Star for another team.

THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY!

Maybe there's some misdirection going on here. Who knows. I read something where Kidd has put a hold on pursuing the Cal job because of their potential to hire him. Me personally I wish they would just shutup. Take a page from Jerry West and quit talking about your bizzness.

Too much of info being leaked by the lakers to the media. They didn’t learn anything from the AD disaster. Wish we had Jerry. Smh!!

I swear I picture the front office going about biz like this:

Yeah it was quoted as his Physical Therapist stated he should've been out 6 months but LBJ wanted to push through it for the fans. So basically we about to go through the same $hit the Spurs went through with Kawhi in that the team doctors said he was cleared and ok to play versus what the persoanl therapist says.

Groins heal extremely slowly due to little blood flow to the area. It just means he’ll keep feeling discomfort or pain, not that he’s truly hindered by it like he can’t play.

Jerry West is not coming back to the Lakers. We had him and we lost him, so forget about Jerry West.

LeBrons injury is a concern, and if it is the same injury that Kawhi had it does take a long time to heal up.

Some are hoping Magic and Rob get fired so the Lakes can correct the direction of the team. Magic promised this year was going to be full of surprises, big signings and it has been but not what I expected. For example, getting McGee was not the super star signing that I was expecting. The trade for Mike Macada

I’m hearing the Lue gets along with Leyso that may weigh heavily into him being the next coach. Also, isn’t Kid the coach that spilt water on the court to force a timeout?

NO LUe and NO Kid. Would not surprise me to see Fisher ahead of those two. He has been hanging around with all the Laker greats lately. He is a five time champion and very cerebral, but so is Luke. When he was a player they always kept saying how smart Luke was. So there you go!

Yup, I had one, from playing college hoops btw. It took a year until it was right. And I had PT/trainers and so on, a lot of offseason work. Not like LBJ has, but still. Tbh it was never the same.

And coach wise, hells no to Kidd or Lue. Problem is all the good ones are taken. Jackson maybe, but would he want to come into this dumpster fire of a team? At least he's smart seemingly. But I understand his extreme religious views got him fired in GS. So not sure that would work. An btw NO to Fish. Omg he sucked as coach as well, and btw teams aren't jumping over each other to hire D Fish. So, in short, NO EX LAKERS! Other than Riles when has an ex Laker EVER been a good coach? Never is the answer. No to B Shaw, Mark Madsen etc. No to B Scott, unless they want to tank lol. No to magic. We need fresh blood...period. Constantly going back to the Laker well has NOT worked. So why keep trying the same thing over and over only to see it fail every time?

On top of that the Lakers have burned a lot of bridges. With former coaches, with players,. Would be hard then imagining who would want to come here. Other than a washout like Kidd etc. So that's a major issue. Add to that 'some' pple not wanting to play with LBJ (same dilemma we had with KB btw if you recall) and it's a real puzzle how to proceed.

They were duped from watching Muscala have a few good games in Philly before he was traded to the Clips.

Most fans are hoping that Magic and Rob get replaced. Great players cannot always transition to basketball management positions and that seems to be the thoughts regarding Magic.

Enough of bashing Luke, Magic and Perlinka, also some of the laker players. Maybe we should take a step back and see what actually brought this team down from being contenders and making the play offs to nobodies.

I would say what killed the Lakers momentum was injuries. Ball with a spain ankle missed half of the season, should have been one week off, but he milks the system. LeBron being off with a groin injury could have been disastrous, McGee seems like he was on his last breath with some kind of pulmonary disease., Ingram has some kind of blood clot issues similar to what Bosh suffered from., Kuzma has some back spasm issues and was off several games,Hart was also injured missed several games, Wagnor injured since he got drafted, Rondo has only played half of the season.

So Luke has to be playing with a make up lineup through most of the season. Then panic hit Magic and he threatens to trade the whole team for AD. Now that was crazy if I ever seen anything come out of a general managers and president of operations. That shook our youth confidence to the core and the losing really started.

Lot of blame to go around including the one year contract players, some good and some terrible.

So maybe we should give some space and see what the Lakers do this summer before some more dumb moves are made.

This really is not a bad team when everybody is healthy.

I do agree with Steven A Smith that LeBron should not play anymore games this season Max Kellerman also agreed that LeBron has nothing to prove anymore this season and the Lakers should tank the rest of the seasons and maybe get themselves to grab a top draft pick.

You want people to stop bashing and then start bashing Ball?

Have you seen his medical files and gave him clearance to play? Or do you have no clue on his condition because you haven't seen his files, because you are in no way way qualified to diagnose anything to begin with?

As for Ingram, his diagnosis was nothing like Bosh's. Yes he had blood clots but that's like saying all cancers are the same.

All teams get injuries, go take a look at Portland, the nuggets, your beloved warriors, you know what their coaches did? Figured it out. Luke hasn't experienced anything different than any other coach, except expectations from the fo and fans.

This can be argued back and forth forever. One thing is clear: We got NOTHING for Randle. NOTHING. And NOTHING (Mike Mucus) for Zubac. For a double/double guy and a young seven footer that is GM malpractise. Period.

These definitely are dark times...….Was listening to SAS today and his fear is that we'll get no one in FA this summer. I sure hope he's wrong. It'd be dam shame if the Clips outdid us....sigh.

The problem is a lot of fans and especially the FO think the Lakers are still a premier destination. If we are brutally honest with ourselves what exactly do we have going for the franchise that other teams can't offer?

A historical past and that's it. There is no charismatic owner anymore. We have an owner who touts fake news.

There is no savvy FO. There is no reputable coach.

If we take away the Franchise history and ask a player to pick between the Clippers and the Lakers. You would pick the clippers 100/100 times. Better management, better FO, better coach.

He wants his stats so I doubt he'd agree to shut down. He's taking off back to backs now. I agree it's what they should do. But then he'll never catch Wilt lol.

Go back farther. We got nothing for Pau. Nothing for DH12 etc. They take trade or medical exceptions (Nash etc) and then never use them. Been saying this for years. They throw good money after bad and don't seem to care.

All true. Been saying it as well for years. They're delusional (as clearly Glitch was) thinking they can sell the history and living in LA. Most of those guys live in LA half the year anyways, without the 'benefit' of having to pay high taxes on half their 'home' games. They can travel where they want when they want. They don't need to live here full time. And not everyone is a rapper or has dreams of being a film producer. Short careers. Take the money. And go where you can win and will treat you with respect. That is certainly not the recent history of LA. Quite the contrary.

I hate to keep dissing on this team. But frankly until they get their heads out of their butts they deserve it.

Don’t blame the scouting department. That’s on the Magic Moron!
