This team has the prerequisite talent to hang with anybody on any given day. However they need a decent system or some sort of a structure, which is lacking and that could be attributed to coaching (or lack thereof). The harakiri rotations invariably come to bite us in the derriere during critical junctures as was evident today.

Magiclakez said its best. When you have two players on the team that scored 30 apiece and lose? Lukes rotation sucks bad.

KCP is an okay player but i don't want to see him for next year. He takes so much many for a Cap space and makes dumb mistakes in crunch time. Plus that money couldve gotten us a solid player or 2. I still wouldn't mind to have Rondo because he is a natural born leader.

Whole coaching staff needs change because Luke is just too friendly and inexperienced to coach for this team.

Sad that they played so well for 3 and 3/4 quarters and both BI and LBJ, especially BI deserved that win. Wish they had made the coaching change during the all star break. We could have salvaged this season...perhaps.

A winnable game wasted by an incompetent coach. The rotation sucks and the coach is so scared to discipline Lebron who is taking all the plays upon himself most specially in the last quarter.

Used to seem that Lebron could carry virtually any collection of bums to the playoffs. Those days are long gone.

A lot of y’all are blaming Luke & his rotations but truth is we suck defensively, we have 0 shot block presence outside of a center that only plays 25-28 minutes. Our guys are horrible playing help defense, we got a rid of a Allstar caliber PF in Randle for nothing 🤷🏽‍♂️ Beasley KCP & Stephenson waste of money. Then we trade our future Center a skilled 7 footer for 2 guys we already have as in the players wit the same skill set.. you guys can blame Luke but my opinion I blame magic & Pelinka. They’ve made bone head after bone head moves that doesn’t make sense.

We were told since last offseason that this year was all about getting better & sticking to the plan of the 2019 summer signing another Big FA, but what happens Lebron screwed it up. He panicked & wanted Anthony Davis now, that sabotaged the locker room continuity. Once again we’re a joke of a Franchise & it’s a never ending soap opera. Kevin Durant wasn’t lying Lebron environment is toxic. He only knows how to play 1 way, he pretty much doesn’t respect Luke & it’s been like that from the jump.

Though we suckd last year, when healthy we played hard & together.. I don’t blame Luke 1 bit because he’s in a can’t win situation. I blame the front office, then injuries for some reason we’re cursed every year injuries get us bad, & last but not least I blame Lebron..

I’ve defended Luke countless times here, because I do feel like there’s people on this board who blames Luke just to have someone to blame. Yes, I agree that Magic and Pelinka should be held responsible for this joke that they have put together. I think the players, for all the millions they get paid, should be playing a lot better. More effort. Higher IQ. Higher awareness. When the offense is flat footed, set a screen, get some movement going. Pay more attention on defense, help hard, close hard. Luke is not at fault in my opinion for this season, in fact he has done an excellent job handling everything when you look at the big picture. He was setup to fail, yet we were on an upwards trajectory before lebron and then Zo went down.

However yesterday’s blame rests on his shoulders, as does a handful of other games. This game against the Bucks though really is a mindboggler. I’ll wait for ANYONE to explain why KCP was in to close the whole fourth quarter instead of Bullock. Kuz shot 5/18, generally disappears in the fourth, has made low IQ plays the whole game, I do not care for his status as a core player on the team. If Luke could sit Ball against the win against the Kings in January, he certainly can sit Kuz. We also should have used BI more but having those couple flaming idiots playing really shrunk our chances. Luke has failed to adjust in a handful of games, yet he is credited with a lot of wins and successes we have had. He is learning, I’m afraid though that plans have changed and we can’t afford a learning coach, which is unfair because that was the deal. He’d grow alongside the players. It’s too bad.

If all else fails, find solace in that no fanbase generally likes their current coach. When Luke is fired, a quarter way through next season our fanbase will turn on the new coach as well. Considering who’s available, Luke is our best option, though.

Front office is trash no excuses & a joke.. how you sign Lebron James & don’t surround him with shooters. How many bone head moves they’re going to continue to make.

Dude was put in a no win situation, when the star player doesn’t respect you, disregard set plays you run.

If magic had a brain he would’ve kept Randle instead of wasting money on Stephenson Beasley & KCP. kuzma could’ve came off the bench & thrived in a 6 man role like how harden did wit OKC. Then they pretty much leak every F’n thing to the media. The whole team know they want em gone at all cost for AD. Man no FA wants to play with a organization that is a mess & shows no loyalty towards its players.

I dislike this FO, their strategy, lack of long term vision and just overall ineptitude irks me.

The Randle mistake still bothers me. It’s hard enough to obtain talent in this league and the Lakers felt that Randle was just a guy we can let go when all signs pointed to him still improving. Finally some NBA coverers are starting to question some of these stupid moves. It’s about time because I was questioning them from the beginning. I disliked the Russell trade and now he is balling. The problem is LA doesn’t create a culture of development. Every young player seems to be looked at as a tradeable asset.

I hated them letting Randle walk and he’s balling. To obtain non-factors like Beasley and Stephenson made very little sense. The Lakers were fine with spending money but not over one year. I wish I could find the article I read but they only wanted to offer Randle a one year deal which was a slap in the face imo. That’s why they had very little choice but to renounce his rights after he requested to be let go. They didn’t want to make a fair offer to an improving young big if it was going to interfere with their plan of 2019 free agency illusions. This strategy of going after two birds in a bush when they have one in the hand is plain stupid to me. Randle as the starting four would have been great because it would have improved our toughness on the frontline and Kuzma could have came off the bench or Randle at 5 when the Lakers go small with Kuzma at the 4 would have been legit.

It bothers me to hear opposing team’s announcers speak highly of our young players but then follow it up with them possibly being moved. The words are all over and LA let’s it happen.

The Russell deal I hated but was okay with only because Lonzo is a better pure PG than Russell I’ve always felt if we put talent around Lonzo he’ll flourish his skill set is Romdo but bigger & more athleticism. Russell messed the locker room up being a snitch but he’s a terrific scorer

Man this team is so bad. The defense is atrocious! We are missing Ball so much. I don’t see why Caruso doesn’t play. I like his game and he plays hard. Bron complains way too much.

There is no way this team makes the playoffs.

The only bright side is that BI had been playing much better lately. He isn’t dribbling the ball as much which is good to see.
