"I don't care what our record is. I don't care about about making the playoffs. Y'all can go ahead & make the playoffs...I’m rolling for Zion.”

Side note:

But I do disagree with people( in general) saying Lebron can't carry a team anymore. He just carried that terrible Cavs team to finals, same team that's back in top 3 of lottery. Think difference was Cavs team was built for and around Lebron, wasn't more talented than current Lakers team, just built better. Imo

You’re right. There was a lot of pressure with the expectations of Lebron and the team going to the playoffs, a lot of people were saying the Western Conference Finals. The only problem is management didn’t believe shooting was needed and opted for tough guys defenders and playmakers in a shooting league.

Lebron can still carry a team but the stints are shorter. We saw the same with Kobe. Kobe went from dominating games to dominating halves to having dominant quarter and then we were happy to see him shoot over 40%.

Lebron doesn’t have the stamina to do everything he does for an entire game anymore. The problem is Lebron can’t cuange his game after 17 years. He’s doing way too much and he should look to post more imo, move without the ball because Rondo will find him but nope.

This should have all been done when Kobe left. It was the perfect opportunity to start fresh and bring new ideas to the franchise. Instead we have an old boys club running the franchise, coaching the roster and commenting on the games.

Great point. Kobe’s retirement would have been the perfect time but we keep getting treated to former Lakers ad if they can bring back the glory days. This has been pretty unhealthy to the franchise.

I really hope we don't make the playoffs this year and end up with the #1 pick and Zion. And then when NO comes calling about an Anthony Davis trade, Magic and Rob can refuse to answer their calls or tell them to kiss their a$$.

Lakers are not going to end up with Zion, they have won too many games already. Be realistic!

I think I was the only Laker fan that did not want LeBron to come to the Lakers. Now that we have him everybody is jumping ship, but before they were all like these sports reporters sucking up to LeBron. LMFAO! I said at the time he was over the hill already and I did not like him because he could have come to the Lakers when he was in his prime, But he kept turning the Lakers down and taking less money to play with the Heat and back to the Cav's. Finally he decides he wants to get paid the maximum and guess who throws all that money at him and most of you guys were so happy he was coming here. So we lost Randle, DeAngelo, Nance and Clarkson to make room for the KING. LOL!

The plan was to rebuild from scratch through the draft? I think the only one here that still believes on our youth movement is me and Tempy, everybody else is jumping ship and want to trade the whole team for one player. GEEZ!

Only twenty plus games left, lets stick to the original plan. Keep our young players together, do not scare them of trade. Let them enjoy playing together and lets see what happens next season.

Maybe we will be surprised by landing another younger super star.

Depends on how ping pong balls fall, with new lottery odds, you don't have to be in top 3 or 5 to have a chance.

Well than you better hope Celtics give up a lot or AD will probably be a laker next year.

Don't get the over the hill, he's still one of the best players in the league. Although he needs to get back in shape coming off the injury, read where he's all the way up to 280 pds....smh

Like AD said this morning on his interview with Isaiah Thomas. If he gets traded to a team that he really did not want to go to, he will honor the trade until his contract is finished, THEN he said he will decide what is best for him and go else where.

So yes, he might be traded some where else, but eventually he will be a Laker. So I do not think the Celtic will give up their top players if AD is going to leave as soon as he becomes a free agent.

And at the same time the Lakers can retain their young players who will start to peak out by 2020.

Only bad thing is LeBron will be 36 years old by then.
